Too Hot To Handle season 6 premiered on Netflix on July 19, 2024. The reality dating show consists of ten episodes, the first four of which were dropped on the premiere day. The remaining episodes will be released in batches.

Season 6 follows a format where participants are not allowed to engage in any physical activities, including no kissing. To monitor them and ensure they follow the rules, there is an AI called 'Lana.' Moreover, there is a new sidekick this season named 'Bad Lana.'

Too Hot To Handle season 6 features participants from various backgrounds. While some are models, others include an artist, an entrepreneur, and a stockbroker. Additional contestants include a college student, a VIP host, and more.

Netflix describes the current installment as:

"They’ve got a shot at a huge cash prize — but to win it, they can’t have s*x. Can a private beach and the cool ocean breeze tame these hot serial daters?"

Too Hot To Handle season 6: Format, rules and more

The popular dating reality show Too Hot To Handle has returned for its sixth season with many exciting twists. The show depicts ten singles living in a villa for four weeks, looking for their potential romantic connection.

However, while they do that, they are not allowed to get any kind of physical intimacy with other participants. Hence, they are refrained from kissing or any other s*xual acts on the show.

Netflix describes it as:

"To win the grand prize, the group will have to give up any kissing (and beyond) for good in the ultimate test of self-control."

Interestingly, the results are disastrous when any of the houseguests are found violating any rules. Upon rule-breaking, a certain amount is deducted from the prize pot. Whenever that happens, Lana notifies the cast members in the villa about the prize deduction. The winning prize money is set to $250,000 for the first time.

Open casting call from Netflix

For the first time, the sixth season features contestants from around the globe. Before the show’s filming, Netflix also invited interested singles to apply for the show via an open casting call.

Too Hot To Handle season 6: Release schedule

The first four episodes of the latest season were aired on July 19, 2024, on Netflix. The next three episodes will be released on July 26, 2024. The finale episodes (from 8 to 10) will be aired on August 2, 2024. Fans can also binge-watch previous installments of the show on the streaming platform.

New twists and a sidekick: Bad Lana

Fans must already know Lana, an AI that featured in the past seasons as well. She shares all the details and rules throughout the show, and participants are supposed to follow the challenges and rules Lana mentions.

Too Hot To Handle season 6 has a new “sidekick” called Bad Lana, another mischievous AI that might lead contestants towards rule-breaking.

While Lana is a rule maker and follower, Bad Lana is the opposite. She has been added to the show to stir drama and get participants in trouble. According to their names, the looks of both are quite relatable. Lana is a purple-shaped cone, while Bad Lana is red and black.

The show also features Desiree Burch, a narrator. Her on-point jokes and relatable commentary are quite popular among fans. Listening to Desiree’s narration makes total sense, and her touches on humor are also enjoyable.
