Jeffrey Dean Morgan is entering the reality TV world and will be the host of NBC's new travel competition series Destination X. As per the synopsis of the reality show, the contestants would "embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea of their location."

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was born on April 22, 1966, in Seattle, Washington. However, his leg injury forced him to let go of the sport, which also led him to drop out of college.

Morgan started his acting career playing a role in a 1991 film called Uncaged. He went on to portray minor and major roles in small films before entering the TV show world in the mid-1990s.
He appeared on shows like Sliders, Extreme, JAG, and In the Blink of an Eye. He got his first major role in the series Burning Zone and appeared on 11 episodes of the show.
After securing roles on several popular TV shows, he got his big break with his role as John Winchester on the CW's hit series, Supernatural. While working as one of the main characters on the show he also made appearances on Grey's Anatomy.
The Destination X host landed his first big movie role in Warner Bro's 2009 movie Watchmen which was based on a DC graphic novel by Alan Moore. He played the role of The Comedian and was part of the main superhero group.
Morgan further had a brief appearance in another DC movie Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. He played the role of Batman's father Thomas Wayne alongside Lauren Cohan who portrayed the role of Martha Wayne.
In 2016, he appeared in the final episode of The Walking Dead season 6. He gained immense popularity with his Negan who was the main antagonist for the show from seasons 7 to 9.
Recently, Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared on season 4 of Prime Video's superhero series The Boys where he played the role of Joe Kessler.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan will host Destination X
Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be hosting NBC's newest competition series, Destination X. On the show, the contestants will go on a mystery road trip. They will be placed on a Destination X bus with all of its windows blacked off. They won't be told where they are or where they are going. The contestants have to figure out the mystery location they are headed towards.
There will be challenges throughout the episodes which will provide them with some clues. The clues might either help them pinpoint their destination location or will bring in more confusion.
The players will have to guess the location in each round and the contestant who guesses a location furthest from the actual destination gets eliminated. The first person to correctly guess the location wins the show.
Morgan expressed excitement about hosting Destination X in a press release issued by NBC on September 19, 2024. Morgan said:
"Destination X captivated me with its blend of travel, mystery, and gaming. I can’t wait to embark on this wild guessing game across the globe as Master of Ceremony, navigating players through challenges that test their mental and physical abilities."
