Love Island USA season 6 aired its latest episode on Friday, July 19, 2024. The results of the public votes were announced, leading to the eviction of two couples from the Fijian villa. Amidst bitter goodbyes, four couples were overjoyed to make it to the finale.

While JaNa and Kenny, Leah and Miguel, Kendall and Nicole, and Serena and Kordell moved ahead in the competition, Rob and Kassy, and Aaron and Kaylor were eliminated. Leah was heartbroken to see her Love Island USA ex-partner Rob leave the villa.

In a private conversation with him, Leah confessed she would cherish the memories she made with him. She also stated that she respected him even after their bitter breakup.

"I swear to God, like, on, like, my dog's life, like, I always cared about you, and I always wanted the best for you, and I always will," said Leah.

Leah and Rob entered the Love Island USA villa on day one of the show. They immediately hit it off and coupled up on the first night. Their atypical sense of humor and quirky personalities brought them closer together. However, their relationship failed to survive the test of time.

In the latest episode, Leah and Rob had an emotional conversation before parting ways for good.

Rob requests a final conversation with Leah before leaving the Love Island USA season 6 villa

In the latest episode of Love Island USA season 6, Rob knew he needed to have a personal conversation with Leah before he exited the villa.

"I have something I have to do," said Rob.

He headed to the women's dressing room, looking for Leah. Upon finding her, he requested a chat with her. They discussed their journey on the show, reminiscing about their time together. Their conversation gave closure to both the Love Island USA islanders as they wished each other the best for the future.

Rob began the conversation with a joke and said:

"I just wanted to say I think you [Leah] should leave with me."

Hearing that, Leah replied:

"Rob, let's go now."

The Love Island USA cast member conveyed his genuine feelings to Leah, recalling their failed relationship.

"I really care about you. I really do, and I really, really wish you the best. And it didn't work out for us, like, romantically, but I really do hope that we get to stay friends," said Rob.

Leah and Rob's journey on the show was not one without difficulties. "Bombshell" Liv stole Rob from Leah after arriving on day two of the show. However, their relationship ended soon. Just as Rob reunited with Leah, Andrea Carmona entered the villa with her eyes set on Rob.

She persuaded him to "dump" Leah and recouple with her. Before the recoupling, Rob tried to explain his dilemma to Leah, but the latter refused to reason with him. A bitter argument ensued between the two, where Rob blamed Leah for not letting him speak his mind.

In the latest episode, he reassured his Love Island USA ex-partner that he harbored no harsh feelings for her. He confessed that he never stopped liking spending time with her. His words made Leah emotional, and she said:

"You probably don't wanna hear it, but I never stopped caring about you."

She revealed that she wanted nothing but the best for him. Previously, Leah admitted she felt anxious and upset when Rob was at risk of getting eliminated alongside Daniela.

Although not romantic, she felt a strong connection with Rob. However, she stated she had greater feelings for her Love Island USA partner Miguel, and would always choose him over Rob.

"I'm so sad to see Rob leave. We've been in here day one, like obviously Rob and I were just so close right off the bat and we went through so much. He is definitely someone that is very special to me," said Leah.

The duo hugged each other and said "Love you," before bidding farewell to each other.

Love Island USA season 6 finale is set to be released on Sunday, July 21, only on Peacock.
