"I do apologize" — Love is Blind UK star Sam on his conversation with Benaiah on the mixer night

Love is Blind UK star Sam also showed up on the show's much-awaited reunion which was released on August 26, on Netflix. Even though Sam from London didn't make it to the altar, he was an integral part of the show because he crossed many storylines.

In episode 8 of Love is Blind UK, Sam and Benaiah met for the first time after the pods. Benaiah accused Sam of driving Nicole away because he questioned Sam's intentions. Sam disagreed, saying Nicole wanted to sleep with him when she visited his place. During the reunion, host Matt asked Sam why he made that comment to Benaiah.

Sam began to explain himself, but Demi interrupted him and asked him to apologize to Nicole for being disrespectful to her. Nicole added that it was hurtful and that it was a lie.

"I do apologize. I do. I really do. I really hope we can move forward with this. I really do," Sam said.

The conversation that Sam apologized for on the Love is Blind UK reunion

While Nicole and Benaiah were still in the Love is Blind phase of moving in together, they attended the contestant's mixer alongside other couples of the season, in episode 8. Sam also came. Benaiah pulled him aside for a conversation to clarify why he prodded Nicole against him.

He told him that he thought Sam was there for intentions other than finding love, which he thought was an essential piece of information to tell Nicole because he cared for her. Sam wasn't having it, he told Benaiah that he was trying to nitpick flaws from him, then proceeded to tell him that Nicole wanted to sleep with him when she was at his place, but he turned her down.

Benaiah laughed at his face because he couldn't believe how disrespectful he was being to Nicole. Later at the Love is Blind UK reunion, hosts Matt and Emma knew exactly what to ask Sam when he was called on the couch.

Seated between Freddie and Catherine, Sam had to answer why he said what he said to Benaiah on the mixer night. Explaining himself Sam said:

"I genuinely was caught blindsided. I thought maybe, it was gonna go in a different direction, but unfortunately, the conversation did get a little bit heated. After watching it back, I wish none of that ever took place".

Demi interrupted him and asked him to say "sorry" to Nicole for being disrespectful and everyone applauded her. Nicole added that his statements had hurt her because they were a lie. Following this, Sam had to apologize.

In the Love is Blind UK pods, fans saw Sam leaning toward Jasmine, who rejected him because her intuition told her he wasn't the man for her. Heartbroken, Sam said he would settle for his other match, Nicole, who was delighted to have him because her ideal match, Benaiah, didn't want to go further.

However, Benaiah, being among the lads in the male living quarters, knew Sam was only going to Nicole because Jasmine rejected him. He heard Sam saying, "Beggars cannot be choosers," and felt like reporting it to Nicole because he still cared for her, and he did.

Despite the warning from Benaiah, Nicole still went for Sam. However, she soon realized that what Benaiah warned her about was true. She let go of Sam and reunited with Benaiah, which eventually culminated in them getting married.
