"I brought you into this" — Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Mike clashes with Angelina about his book

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 7B aired episode 30, Scavenger Hunt, on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The episode saw the cast visit different locations in Miami to relive and recreate some of the show's most iconic moments. However, during their time together, tensions between Angelina and Mike reached a boiling point, once Angelina accused him of using misinformation in his book.

Mike launched his book, Reality Check: Making the Best of the Situation - How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison, in November 2023. The book documents his life off-camera, giving fans an exclusive glimpse into his private challenges.

In the latest episode, Angelina accused Mike of taking credit for creating her catchphrase "Kim Kardashian of Staten Island" in his book. However, Mike was convinced Angelina had misread the words. Instead, he explained that he took credit for bringing her onto the show.

"I brought you into this. You wouldn't exist if it wasn't for me," Mike said.

Even then, Angelina remained unconvinced and asked the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star to prove her wrong. While the feud between Angelina and Mike continued, the cast visited other locations that were iconic to their show's history.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation: Angelina calls herself the "Kim Kardashian of Staten Island"

In one of the segments of episode 30, Angelina revealed to the cameras that she struggled to remain calm when bothered. Consequently, she confronted Mike about a statement in his latest book, claiming it untrue.

"You said you came up with the 'Kim Kardashian of Staten Island.' I thought I read, like, you made that catchphrase up," Angelina said.

In a confessional, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation female cast member revealed she created the phrase to refer to her appearance. She added that she was in her bedroom when she made that up, stressing its ownership. Pauly D. and Deena teased Angelina to "sue Mike" if she was so confident.

While Angelina jokingly asked Mike for her share of the profits, the book's writer denied writing anything like that. He explained that he wrote about bringing the "Kim Kardashian of Staten Island" to Jersey Shore. Mike reminded her that she used to be a bartender, and would not have been a star without him.

"Angelina, who didn't even read my book, she's telling me what's in my book," Mike said.

While Angelina remained unconvinced, Mike pulled up his e-book to prove he never took credit for creating the catchphrase.

After some digging, Mike managed to pinpoint the page that Angelina expressed concern over. He requested Jenni to read from it as "testimony" to his truth.

"Instead of acting like her normal self, she [Angelina] became extra and confrontational. Maybe it was a coping mechanism when the cameras were rolling. I don't know if I should admit this or not but the Kim Kardashian of Staten Island wouldn't exist if it wasn't for me," Jenni read.

While Angelina listened in disbelief, Mike ran around the table to celebrate his win. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation female cast member was surprised to hear the things written about her in the book and expressed the same to the cameras.

Mike urged Angelina to move on and forget about the past since they were both in a "good place." He told her that she was like the "little sister" that he always wanted, however, Angelina jokingly disagreed.
