“I can’t stand her”— Love is Blind: Argentina participant Eva tells Roberto she doesn’t like Emily

Love is Blind: Argentina season 1 episodes 1 to 4 were released on November 1, 2024. Throughout the first four episodes, viewers were introduced to participants who were looking for a potential partner by forming an emotional connection. Once the cast members were sure of getting engaged, they would meet face-to-face and head to Tulum, a romantic getaway.

One of the couples, Eva and Roberto were unsure of their connection but decided to get engaged. In episode 4, when the couples reunited with their fellow cast members, Eva told Roberto about her observations about other participants. She said she disliked Emily due to her competitive and attention-seeking nature. Eva said:

"I don't dislike Santiago, he seems awesome but I think Emily is an idiot. I swear, I can't stand her. She's always super competitive and always wants attention. She's a dumba*s."

The Love is Blind: Argentina star also mentioned to Roberto that their connection wasn't as strong as other couples and that it was noticeable to other participants as well.

Love is Blind: Argentina season 1 episode 4 titled Sun.Sand.Sparks was released exclusively on Netflix on November 6, 2024. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

Eva talks about her meeting with Emily on Love is Blind: Argentina episode 4

In Love is Blind: Argentina episode 4 after the couples reunited with other participants, they headed back to their rooms. Eva told Roberto that she didn't like Emily and that Santiago seemed nice. She continued stating that her fellow cast member "brings out the worst in her." Eva clarified that she is not a mean person implying there was a reason behind her dislike for Emily, she said:

"You know, that in my heart, I'm not a mean person, but she brings out the worst in me. "

At the beginning of the episode, most of the participants were surprised to see Eva and Roberto at Tulum. As fans already know, Roberto was unsure of his decision till the very end as claimed by Eva as well. When Emily and Eva met each other, viewers could feel an awkward tension between them. Then, the Love is Blind: Argentina star Eva told the cameras:

"The moment I saw Emily, I think I greeted her without putting much thought into it. I didn't plan my response or anything. That's just how it came out in the moment. It is what it is."

Later in the episode, Emily hinted towards Eva and Roberto being one of the couples who "don't have any connection at all." She told the camera during her confessional interview:

"I'm a really perceptive person. I notice absolutely everything. Some couples don't have any connection at all. I'll just leave it at that."
