Season 3 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On released episodes 9 and 10, the finale and the reunion, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The finale saw the couples reach the last leg of the social experiment where they decided whether to marry or move on. Despite their initial dynamics, some left heartbroken, while others engaged. Among the betrothed were Aria and Scotty.
Scotty and Aria participated in the experiment, hoping to resolve their ongoing conflicts and test their compatibility. While Scotty urged Aria to consider tying the knot, she hesitated due to their disagreements and Scotty's dismissal of her perspectives. Moreover, she wished to focus on her career.
Unaware of each other's decisions, Scotty and Aria came face-to-face in episode 9, Ultimatum Day, eager to know their choices. After expressing their feelings to one another, Scotty finally proposed to Aria. She accepted it with tears in her eyes and said:

Aria was paired with Caleb for her trial marriage, while Scotty was paired with Zaina. Both developed emotional connections with their trial marriage partners and contemplated the dynamics of their original relationship. As Scotty reflected on his The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On trial marriage with Zaina, he realized she helped him recognize his shortcomings and become a "better active listener." Meanwhile, Aria revisited her trial marriage and confessed that she wanted Scotty to embody the traits she found in Caleb since those were the qualities she expected her husband to have.
Scotty hoped Aria would see his growth and appreciated the efforts he put into becoming a better person for her.
"This is the most self-aware, I've seen Scotty but I don't know where Scotty's head is at, and I just know the weight of this decision. It truly is going to make or break our relationship," Aria said.
When The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple came face-to-face, Scotty utilized the moment to apologize for his past mistakes. He confessed that he issued Aria an ultimatum "out of fear," admitting not giving the reassurance she needed in their relationship.
Although Scotty apologized for not loving her how she wanted to be loved, he hoped he could make her feel seen during their trial marriage, revealing that he "really, really tried" to.
"I really tried to give you the love I know I haven't given you in our relationship," Scotty added.
Aria joined the conversation, stating that she did not want The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member to feel that he was the only one who had to compromise in their relationship. She mentioned that she wanted to compromise with him, hoping to make him see that her participation in the show was a part of it.
Scotty thanked her for making it to the end with him, knowing she came onto the show unwillingly. Upon hearing that, Aria acknowledged that she should have given Scotty the trust he deserved. She hoped he could see her growth and acknowledge her ability to recognize her flaws.
After a while, Scotty stated that the experiment allowed them to start a new season of their relationship, where he wanted to be Aria's "protector", "peace" and the man she ran to in times of need. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On male cast member confessed he chose Aria as his partner and would continue doing so in the future.
"Because you are not just a woman that I want to be with. You are the woman that I can't be without," he added.
With that said, Scotty went down on one knee and asked Aria if she would marry him. An emotional Aria accepted his proposal and said she did not want to live a day without him.
Later, Scotty revealed that they were not going to rush into marriage. Instead, they would live together and take one step at a time. However, in The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On reunion, Aria disclosed that she had called off their engagement a day after the proposal.
