Love Is Blind UK season 1 premiered on August 7, 2024, with its first batch (1-4) of episodes. The British rendition sticks to the well-known formula of 30 participants entering the house hoping to find love without making a physical connection with the other person.
During the experiment, Nicole, a 29-year-old former divorcee connected with two people on the show, Benaiah and Sam. Throughout the trials and tribulations, Nicole had to deal with Benaiah's accusations of him doubting Sam's intentions with Nicole. Nicole eventually said yes to Sam, and decided to meet.
Although Sam seemed elated and even confessed his love for Nicole, she didn't reciprocate his feelings and felt confused by the end of their meeting.

"Guys, I don't know what I've let myself into here. This is so dangerous territory, isn't it? Oh, my gosh," said Nicole in a confessional.
By the end of episode 4 of Love Is Blind UK, Nicole decides to not move on with Sam and fly to Greece with other engaged couples.
What led to the disconnect between Nicole and Sam in Love Is Blind UK?
By the end of episode 2, "Two's a couple, three's a love triangle", of Love Is Blind UK, Jasmine decided to move on with Bobby. This didn't sit well with Sam as he was also vying for her attention along with Nicole. Benaiah noticed this along with Sam's comments on possible weight and told Nicole about the situation while doubting Sam's intentions.
Although hesitant at first, as he didn't want to interfere in anybody else's experience, Benaiah told Nicole because she was his "priority". He shared with Nicole about his intentions of spending his life with her and asked Nicole to thus choose between the two so he could have more clarity.
"It's because I care which is why I did tell you. Whichever way you go, you go with your heart on this. So, you go with where you genuinely can see your future," Benaiah said.
Nicole was taken aback and tearfully thanked Benaiah for expressing his feelings towards her. After thinking about the situation, she expressed that from her experience Sam has been consistent throughout the experiment.
Nicole proceeded to confront Sam on the matter and asked him about his intentions. Sam reassured Nicole and said his intentions to come to Love Is Blind UK was to find a life partner and nothing else. Nicole tearfully confessed her fears of going through the harrowing process of loving someone and not getting anything in return.
After Sam expressed his love and they both said "I love you," Nicole agreed to meet him. She told Benaiah about this, but he remained positive, saying he still wanted to spend his life with her despite the situation. They tearfully said goodbye, leaving Nicole with mixed emotions.
During the time of their meeting, Nicole again justified her mixed emotions due to her previous divorce which had left her with trust issues with a potential lover.
"I've been married before, it didn't work out, and I think I lost hope for a little bit. It was very important that the person who I choose to get engaged to is here for the right reasons, and is genuine about their quest to find love," stated Nicole in a confessional.
Initially, Nicole said yes to Sam after he got down on one knee, but during the confessional interview, she showed concerns about Sam's intentions after meeting him.
"What's confusing to me is that I'm now having to put the two together, the physical and sort of the emotional. And I guess now there's, like, a sidestep or maybe a backstep of like, 'Okay, how do I really feel about this person now?"
Her concerns led to the couple breaking up by the end of episode 4 of Love Is Blind UK when all the engaged couples flew to Greece for the next phase of the experiment. Nicole admitted to making a mistake regarding choosing Sam over Benaiah and her fate on the show was left as a mystery until the next batch of episodes are made available on August 14.
