Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 aired on January 7, 2024. In the latest episode, the cast members were indulged in a poolside conversation. While chatting with Erin and Sai, Brynn shared her thoughts on Jessel and Pavit’s marriage, saying:

“I don’t see romantic love. I would call it co-piloting.”

The discussion began as the women reflected on a conversation they had during a previous trip to Anguilla. Brynn recalled Jessel telling her about the love of her life, which wasn’t her husband Pavit, but an ex-boyfriend who was rejected by her family.

Alongside this discussion, the episode featured other highlights, including an argument between Ubah and Brynn during dinner. This fight escalated the tensions among the group.

A poolside conversation about Jessel’s marriage in The Real Housewives of New York City

Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City opened with Brynn, Erin, and Sai lounging by the pool, having a casual chat. Their conversation took a turn when Brynn brought up a moment from last year’s trip to Anguilla, where they had asked Jessel, “Who was the love of your life?” According to Brynn, Jessel didn’t hesitate before answering:

"She (Jessel) just straight up goes, 'This guy.'" referring to an ex-boyfriend.

Brynn shared that Jessel’s family disapproved of the relationship because the man wasn’t Indian, leading to their eventual breakup. This revelation surprised the group and led them to question how Jessel could be married to someone she didn’t view as the love of her life.

Brynn commented that she didn’t perceive Jessel’s relationship as romantic and described it more as a form of co-piloting. Erin chimed in during her confessional, saying:

“Jessel and Pavit, they definitely seem like friends.”

Sai nodded in agreement during the poolside chat, adding that she couldn’t imagine being in an intimate relationship with someone she wasn’t in love with.

Other episode highlights of The Real Housewives of New York City

At dinner, tensions rose when Brynn questioned Ubah’s disengagement from the group, asking why she was present if she didn’t want to participate.

Ubah replied:

"You don’t get to decide how I spend my time."

This exchange led to an argument that carried over into their ride back in The Real Housewives of New York City. Ubah accused Brynn of trying to control her behavior, saying:

“You’re not my mother, Brynn. Stop acting like you run this group.”

Brynn, in her confessional, remarked:

“She gets mad at anyone who disagrees with her. It’s impossible to have a real conversation.”

Meanwhile, Erin and Brynn further discussed Jessel's recent lifestyle changes. Brynn said that it seemed like everything Jessel did had to involve glam teams and photographers, implying it felt overly staged.

Jessel, however, defended her choices, questioning why it should matter if she wanted to look good or have pictures taken. She added that her preferences didn’t impact anyone else and shouldn’t be a concern for the group.

Later, during a trip to the beach, Ubah refused to cross a shallow stream, claiming there was a dead pigeon in the water. The group appeared divided, with some expressing frustration at Ubah’s hesitation, while others tried to navigate the situation calmly.
