The Traitors UK is a reality TV show where 22 contestants compete for a grand prize. They are divided into "traitors" and "faithfuls." The faithfuls must identify the traitors to protect the prize money, which is earned by completing various missions.

In the newly released episode 5, during the roundtable discussion, Tyler was banished after receiving a total of 12 votes. The majority thought he was one of the traitors but he explained that he wasn't. Before he exited from the show, Tyler told his fellow cast members:

“I just want to say I love all of you, it’s just a game, so just keep going and smash it. I love you. I am a faithful."

"Hoping to add money to the prize pot, the mission proves to be no laughing matter, leaving the Faithful more determined than ever to catch a Traitor at an emotional Round Table."

Apart from The Traitors UK contestant Tyler, the majority had their suspicions about Anglican priest Lisa and student Freddie as well. All three of them were questioned as they defended themselves.

As contestants wanted to figure out who the remaining traitor amongst them was, they ended up voting out Tyler. Despite him reassuring them that he was a faithful, 29-year-old barber and Leicester native's journey on the show came to an end.

He told his fellow faithfuls:

"So faithful you’ve done it again, you’ve managed to banish one of your own. I tell you what, the Traitors are smashing it.”

During the interrogation, Lisa revealed that she was an ordained Anglican priest hence she implied she wasn't lying about being a faithful. This was a surprising plot twist for other contestants as they were unaware of Lisa's identity. Some of them didn't believe her while others struggled to build trust.

Later in The Traitors UK series 3 episode 5, the remaining two traitors tried to recruit Anna who declined this offer. During her confessional interview, she told the cameras:

“They’re using this to scapegoat me, they’re going to throw me under the bus and then I’m going to have to stand up there and tell everyone I’m a traitor. If I want to leave the competition, I want to leave my way.”

It was disappointing for the faithfuls to find out that they doubted the wrong person by banishing one of their own teammates Tyler. Despite them being able to succeed in the mission by earning an extra £5,000, added to the total of £29,500, faithfuls were aware that the traitors were among them.

Players who make it to the final can be declared the winners of a £120,000 prize fund. However if amongst them a traitor survives till the very end, the faithfuls would go home empty handed and the traitor will be declared as the winner.

New episodes of The Traitors UK series 3 air every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays exclusively on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9 pm.
