Love Is Blind UK, premiered on Netflix on August 7, 2024. The show has released the first four episodes so far, and the subsequent episodes will be released in batches every Wednesday till August 21, 2014. The series has welcomed 30 singles from all walks of life from the UK to participate in the British edition.
Sabrina and Steven were one of the contestants who seemed to be connecting during the first episode of Love Is Blind UK. The two bonded over their similar routine which includes gratitude journaling, meditation, and more. They were also seen sharing some personal details about their family.
They hit a roadblock during their second meeting in episode one, where Steven posed a question regarding children, and both seem to have a different opinion. However, Sabrina still wanted to continue knowing him as she said:

"I felt very deflated by how that conversation had ended. I can really feel that there's a connection with Steven. So I hope I get the chance to talk about it a bit more."
Sabrina and Steven talk about having children on Love Is Blind UK
In episode one of Love Is Blind UK Season 1, Sabrina and Steven got to know each other via pods. Both seemed excited and open to exploring this social experiment to find a true connection. Before entering the pod, Sabrina said:
"I am so ready to meet my soulmate. I really hope he is here. I think it is really great to build a life together. On the surface level, I am Miss Independent, but at the same time I am a bit hopeless Romantic."
Sabrina is a 35-year-old Director of marketing and communications who hails from Belfast and seemed ready to relocate if she found the perfect match. Steven is a 37-year-old cross-fit trainer from Birmingham.
He expressed that he is here to find his partner in crime, and then spend the rest of his life with that one person. Sabrina seemed to tick all his boxes as she described herself as:
"I am very adventurous. I am very spontaneous. But I am very considerate."
They both jammed on the fact that they shared huge similarities in their daily routine, except for the cold shower, to which Sabrina had an amicable disapproval. Steven concluded the date by calling it 'incredible'.
The second meeting of the couple in episode 1 of Love Is Blind UK started with their admiration towards their similar approach to life. They furthered their conversation by asking about what is it that they are actually looking for.
Steven described that he is looking for someone to grow old with, and venture into new adventures of life, without letting go of his own self.
Sabrina liked his idea and expressed that she would love to have someone confident, and not trying to shy away from being different from the rest of the crowd. They also talked about their grandparents and how important they were to them. All went well so far for them in Love Is Blind UK, episode 1.
The conversation went little or 'deflated', as Sabrina pointed out when Steven asked her about her opinion on having children. She answered:
"I feel like when I do meet someone, it is more important to me that I have a really good foundation as a husband and wife. If I did not have children, I would be okay."
The answer made Steven a little hesitant as he mentioned that he always wanted to have a child, "a little mini that is part of my DNA." The answer was followed by a long silence.
Sabrina in the confessional during episode 1, Love Is Blind UK said:
"I don't feel the urge that I need to have kids or else I am not going to feel happy in myself or my life. But I feel very deflated about how that conversation ended."
Sabrina also expressed her experience to her fellow female contestants Lisa and Ria of Love Is Blind UK season 1. How she found Steven perfect for herself, but their differing points on having kids made the whole conversation get flipped.
