Big Brother season 26 jury has already been declared, and the show is about to reach its end soon. In week 8, Quinn was one of the contestants who was evicted from the house after the majority of houseguests voted him out. As of now, AI arena competitions have been closed, and every week, when two players are nominated for a possible eviction, their safety depends solely on the jury's votes.

In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly on September 13, 2024, the Big Brother contestant shared what his major mistake was, that led to his eviction. He opened up about feeling insecure in the first week, continuing:

"I felt so insecure in the first week — or insecure throughout the whole process, but week one specifically, I was willing to just provide everything that I had."

Quinn has been widely regarded as the most strategic player in the competition next to Tucker. He successfully removed people he considered a threat, and used his Head of the Household power to his advantage.

However, in week 8, the Big Brother house dynamics completely changed, and Quinn got most of the votes. This meant he was evicted from the house and is no longer competing for the final grand prize.

Big Brother contestant Quinn evaluates his game strategy

When Quinn was asked about what he wanted to change in his game strategy, the Big Brother participant referred to the "upgrade" he was given. According to Quinn, he should have kept that information to himself rather than telling Anglea and Kimo about it.

He implied that he was open to sharing secretive information in the first week which is why he couldn't see past Angela's true personality. Quinn continued how Tucker eventually got to know about the upgrade too, he said:

"I think that I would not have maybe told Angela about my upgrade... And I probably wouldn't have told Kimo about my upgrade either. He told Tucker too, let's not forget about that. Oh my gosh, we got rats."

The Big Brother cast member also expressed regret about putting "Joseph up on the block" which was a "devastating blow" in the future. He also mentioned that the secret he shared was "used against" him during his time in the BB house.

Quinn ended the conversation by stating that his eviction was disappointing and made him feel like he let down his supporters, including family and friends. He said he wasn't ready for his journey on the show to end so soon. Quinn further stated:

"I felt like I articulated my points so well before the vote, and so it was just super disappointing, and yeah, I'm just sad with the whole situation. It was extremely difficult hearing that I had been evicted because it was just such a concrete end to a journey that I wasn't ready for it to be over."

The evicted contestant discussed his time in the house and how he adjusted to the game and elevated his strategy as time passed by. Unfortunately, Quinn appeared to be seen as a threat and hence got majority votes.

Fans can stream the newly released Big Brother season 26 episodes exclusively on CBS and Paramount Plus every week on Sundays, Thursdays, and Wednesdays.
