Below Deck Sailing Yacht aired episode 12, Fraught Mess, on Monday, December 30, 2024. The episode documented Danni's blooming romance with Deckhand Chase as they followed one another around the boat, bantering and enjoying each other's company, all while Diana watched from the sidelines. Diana, who had initially expressed interest in Chase, declared that it was time to move on.
The other crewmates who witnessed the drama unfold between Danni, Diana, and Chase, wondered what dynamics the trio shared. During a private conversation with Diana, Chief Stew Daisy asked if she would get back together with Chase if given the opportunity, to which Diana answered in the negative.
"I don't fight over men. No, thank you," she said in a confessional.
An earlier episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht showcased Diana and Chase growing closer romantically and expressing interest in getting to know each other. However, their journey was cut short when Diana watched Danni kiss Chase after having a few drinks. It eventually encouraged her to reconsider her feelings toward the Deckhand.

"You can have Gary" — Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Danni asks Diana to pursue Gary
Below Deck Sailing Yacht episode 12 began with the crewmates teasing Danni and Chase about spending the night together. In one of the segments of the episode, Gary asked Chase to "spill the beans" and update him on his connection with Danni. When Gary added that he had expected Chase to "hook up" with Diana, the Deckhand said:
"I don't know what you're talking about, man. I'm not hooking up with anybody. I'm just doing my job, big man."
Meanwhile, Diana confided in Danni that she disliked being left alone for hours, as the latter was with Chase. Upon hearing that, Danni said everyone was acting unnecessarily "silly" about the situation. When Diana asked who she should pursue now that Danni had taken the "hot one," the latter said:
"Gary's sick and hot. You can have Gary."
However, Diana quickly rejected the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Stew's suggestion. While speaking to the cameras, Diana stated that Danni moved fast regarding men. Consequently, she had expected Danni to bond with Chase as soon as he came on board. She added that she was uninterested in love triangles and would steer clear of the new pair.
The following morning, Diana saw Danni and Chase banter and behave playfully around each other. She exited the space, saying that she did not want to be in a love triangle. Chief Stew Daisy caught up with the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star, asking her if Danni and Chase's chemistry bothered her, to which Diana answered that Chase wanted Danni. So, she could do nothing to change that.
Diana also declared she would never "hook up" with Chase.
"I mean, I was vibing, but apparently it was not true on his side," she said.
Daisy sympathized with Diana, saying she was robbed of a chance, and criticized how Chase handled the situation. Regardless, Diana refused to compete with another person for a man's attention, stating she was not upset with how things turned out.
"He [Chase] wanted easier, so he got her. So, that's it," she added.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht crewmate mentioned she had more important things to do with her life than dedicate her time and attention to a man.
