Shark Tank investor Barbara reveals the reason why she flies coach
During her interview, Barbara revealed that she prefers flying coach rather than spending money on first-class plane tickets. Barbara shared that her family members use her free miles and that's the reason why she doesn't fly first class. Admitting that she could "afford to do both" but she wanted to share her free miles with her family, Barbara continued:
“What’s more important — that everybody gets free vacations, or that I’m comfortable in first class? I guess I could afford to do both, but I won’t because I’ll be in coach feeling really smug because I know I have three plane tickets that could take somebody somewhere. It accumulates, you know?”
Later in the podcast, the Shark Tank star shared she had multiple homes used by her extended family. When Jamie asked Barbara about her properties and whether they are being used often, Barbara stated that none of her houses are "ever empty." She continued:
“There’s not a single bed in any of my homes that’s ever empty. What is more satisfying than someone saying, ‘Thank you, we had a blast.’ Extended family, they’re family, whatever. ‘We had a blast.’"
