“I got serious butterflies”— Single’s Inferno star Si-an gushes about Jeong-su

Korean dating reality show Single’s Inferno finally released its fourth season on January 14. The newest season released four of its first episodes, with the remaining releasing every Tuesday. It saw the participants introducing themselves to each other and even going out on dates.

Episode 1 of the season culminated with two couples on their dates to Paradise Island, which continued towards the start of episode 2. Si-an went to the coveted island with Jeong-su, while You-jin went with Jun-seo. After their dates, both the couples got on a helicopter to return, where Si-an took to a Single’s Inferno confessional to say:

"I got motion sickness on the helicopter, and he like grabbed my hand and massaged it until we landed. I said it was okay but he kept trying. And I could really see his affectionate side. I got serious butterflies."

Her confessional was followed by clips of Jeong-su taking care of her on the helicopter. Then when they returned to their tents, Si-an repeated the same to her girlfriends. Later in the episode, though, Si-an chose to go to Paradise Island with Theo. Si-an seemed to enjoy her date with Theo as well.

The aftermath of Si-an's date with Jeong-su in Single’s Inferno season 2 episode 4

After their date ended, the two couples, i.e., Si-an and Jeong-su and You-jin and Jun-seo, got on a chopper to return to their former places of residence. While on it, Si-an told Jeong-su that she was feeling sick and nauseous. The hosts patiently waited to see how Jeong-su reacted to that as well.

Jeong-su offered Si-an to rest her head on his shoulder, and she did. When she got up, he took her hands in his hands and started massaging them. She smiled because she liked it. The hosts acknowledged his efforts too and noted the fact that his actions made Si-an feel better.

As soon as they landed, there was an announcement that told the couples that they weren't going to their destinations together and asked the ladies to get off the chopper. Si-an jokingly told Jeong-su that someone else was going to have to carry her bag from then on. In a Single’s Inferno confessional, she said she was sad because she liked Jeong-su. The latter said:

"I think I was excited to see what would happen next."

Then when the women gathered, they discussed their Paradise Island dates. Here, You-jin said she didn't feel butterflies because she was curious to know more about the other men of the season. Si-an said she did get butterflies. She added that it was "fun and comfortable," and she did feel a connection with him.

"Honestly he was such a sweet guy I definitely had the thought that I would really like to have a boyfriend like him," she added.

Her statement was pleasantly shocking to both the girls and the hosts. The girls pointed out that she was into him. She continued to state that he kept doing all the right things, so he was all she could think about. She further added that she was smitten with Jeong-su's actions.

Later in the Single’s Inferno episode, after talking to Theo, Dong-ho, and Te-hwan, Si-an chose to go to Paradise Island with Theo. He also wrote down her name on his ticket, which meant the connection was mutual. The two flew off to Paradise Island, where they held hands on the chopper, swam at the hotel, and hung out. Jeong-su on the other hand, went to Paradise Island with Hye-jin.
