Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, episode 13, was released on January 6. The episode, Mid-Strife Crisis, followed the aftermath of the tough charter from the previous episode. While Captain Glenn told Daisy to focus on how they could give the guests a better experience, Danni told her that she felt like Daisy snapped at her and Diana.
The episode also saw the crew going out for dinner and drinks. Here, Daisy cozied up with season 5 newbie deckhand Keith. The two eventually kissed at the bar, overlooked by Gary and Cloyce, who have previously clarified their desire for Daisy. While on their way back to the yacht, Gary asked the crew to mention their highlights of the night. Daisy replied:
"I kissed someone."
While Gary jokingly asked her if his name started with the letter K, Cloyce took to a confessional to say that it was weird to have his "vibe transferred" and added that he was there for the long run.

The aftermath of Daisy's kiss with Keith on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 13
While at the club, Daisy complained to Keith that no one listened to her, referring to her asking her cast members to join them at a certain table and them not complying. Keith jokingly said that he would always listen to her because he was into her. Daisy replied:
"I will say that I like that you're into me."
Keith said they were such good friends and that they had evolved from there. Daisy said she liked him because he was the kind of person she had never met. She added that he intrigued her. Keith said he liked her vibe and wanted to see her after the show.
Daisy echoed his sentiments and told him that she enjoyed his company. Keith then asked Daisy if she wanted to kiss him, and they did. Gar,y who was watching from a corner, yelled, "Gross." In a Below Deck Sailing Yacht confessional, Daisy said it was a pleasantly surprising kiss for her.
While returning to the yacht, Daisy told the crew she kissed Keith and added that it was "sweet" and nice to kiss. Meanwhile, in the other van on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Keith sat with Davide, who jokingly asked him if he wished Daisy was there instead of him.
After the party reached the yacht, Chase asked Cloyce how the taxi ride was, and the latter told him about Daisy's kiss with Keith and said it sucked. When Gary met Daisy in their room, he asked her if she hooked up with Keith. He said it was surprising because Daisy had previously told him she wanted to be work colleagues. He added that he didn't think she would hook up with someone.
Back in the kitchen, Cloyce jokingly asked Keith how the kiss was, while Diana asked Cloyce if he was alright, knowing his attraction for Daisy. She then took to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht confessional to say she felt bad for him because he liked her. She said she especially related to him because she was in the same situation with Chase and Danni kissing.
Daisy pulled Keith aside to tell him she wasn't sure Gary was okay with their kiss. Keith, in turn, offered to put her to bed and kiss her more. Meanwhile, Gary told Davide that he didn't understand Daisy's kiss with Keith. He then took to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht confessional to say that her kiss with Keith made it clear that she didn't want anything to do with him.
