In one of the preview videos released on the show's official Instagram handle on September 16, a contestant from the upcoming season 47, Teeny Chirichillo introduced themselves. They identified themselves as a non-binary person and shared how their gender would help them sustain the game. Talking about their socializing skills, Teeny said:
"I know how to get along with anybody. Even people that I don’t like so much, I know how to make them like me".
What else did Survivor season 47 contestant Teeny Chirichillo say in the preview video?
Teeny, a 24-year-old Freelance Writer from Manahawkin, New Jersey focused most of their introduction on their socializing skills. They started by saying that they had been developing their "social game" since they were young. Explaining it further, Teeny said:
"I grew up dressing like a boy, wanted no attention for it, so had to distract them from having questions about me. That’s really taught me how to just befriend any type of personality,"
They then talked about the years that followed. They said during their years in college, they were surrounded by girls from sororities, and then when they started working in the technology industry, they got to see the "alpha male sales bro personalities". This, they said, taught them how to get along with everybody.
They then shared their strategy to win Survivor season 47 saying:
"The energy that I’ll bring forth is a pickpocket from the Oliver Twist universe, stealing their trust, their hearts, their spot in the Final 3. And before they know it, they voted for me and I won".
