"I can't look like an alliance breaker" — The Circle contestant Gianna fights Kevin to keep Jadejha

Season 7 of The Circle returned to Netflix with episodes 9-12 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. After Darian's shocking elimination in episode 9, the contestants started reaching out to the other players, wanting to consolidate their alliances. They needed to avoid a lower rating to extend their stay in the competition.

In episode 10, A Circle Trilogy, Kevin and the Scarlotta twins, catfishing as Gianna, became the influencers for the third time in the season. With the position came the power to block one player from the game. However, the influencers found themselves disagreeing on their final decision. While Gianna wanted to block Garret, Kevin wanted to block Gianna's ally, Jadejha, since she posed a bigger threat.

"Great point, but for my sake and the sake of our alliance, I can't look like an alliance breaker. Jadejha will be powerless once Garret is gone. If necessary, I'll vouch for you, no questions," Gianna said.

In a previous conversation between The Circle influencers, they agreed to target Garret and then Jadejha. With Garret out of the picture, they knew Jadejha would feel cornered. It would provide them with the best opportunity to take her down. However, after seeing that Garret ranked last in the ratings, Kevin doubted if blocking him would change anything.

The Circle star Kevin was determined to get Jadejha out of the game

In one of their conversations in episode 10, Kevin and Gianna agreed to target Garret, since it would weaken Jadejha's gameplay. Garret was the sole ally Jadejha could rely on after her beau, Darian, was eliminated in the previous episode. Since Garret's blocking would help them take down another competitor, it would be like killing two birds with one stone.

However, Kevin's stance changed after the rating results were announced. While Jadejha finished in fifth place, Garret finished at the bottom of the leaderboard. It prompted Kevin to realize Garret was not even worth being considered a threat. He felt the influencers would make a mistake by removing a powerless, obvious, person from the game instead of going after the stronger competitor, Jadejha.

Kevin and Gianna headed to the hangout after becoming influencers for the third time, where the former expressed a change of plans.

"I know we have a tentative plan, but based off the ratings, I think it would be beneficial for us to weigh our options," Kevin said.

The Circle influencers first discussed Rachel. Kevin convinced Gianna to keep Rachel in the game, stating she was a strong player who could benefit their gameplay later in the competition. Gianna even agreed to help Kevin strengthen his relationship with the cast member.

The next person on their agenda was Madelyn. Both Kevin and Gianna agreed that Madelyn was "not a threat," considering how low she ranked in the ratings. With Madelyn and Rachel off the table, their next target was Tierra. Once again, Kevin convinced Gianna that Tierra could help them both "get top-rating spots" moving forward.

As a result, Gianna agreed to remove Tierra from her radar. In the end, they were left with Jadejha and Garret. Kevin knew sending Garret home would not change the game. Therefore, The Circle cast member said:

"I understand you have an alliance with Jadeja. However, Garret was last in the ratings and poses no threat. Period. She [Jadejha] has a target on my back and simply put, she's a #BiggerThreat."

Gianna admitted Garret was "not a threat and powerless." However, if she broke her alliance with Jadejha, she knew it would backfire. Kevin was not impressed by her opinion, and pointed out that it could be their "last chance to make a power move." The Circle star even agreed to take the blame for the elimination, but Gianna refused.

"I CANNOT break my word. #ItsGarretForMe," Gianna said.

After much deliberation, The Circle influencers came to a decision, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger. In episode 11, Garret was blocked from the competition. Gianna noted it was part of the game, and a decision had to be made for their benefit.
