Netflix's Love is Blind Mexico Season 1 aired Episodes 5—8 on the streaming platform on Thursday, August 8, 2024. While the episodes started with the cast enjoying the last of their honeymoon period, they soon returned home for the next phase of the social experiment. So far in the show, the couples discovered emotional and physical compatibility, and the following stage aimed to see if they could live together in the real world.
While several couples faced challenges, for one couple, it was the end of the road. Soon after entering the apartment they were meant to share, they discussed their relationship and Leti broke up with Saul in Episode 5.
"I guess I was also idealistic when it came to thinking about what a life together would be like. And that's truly what I wanted, you know? I mean, I wanted that family that we had talked about and imagined having. I think I'm gonna go," Leti said as she broke up with Saul.

In Love is Blind Mexico Season 1 Episode 5, titled, Living Together, Leti and Saul arrived at the apartment they were meant to share as the next part of the social experiment.
Upon entering, Saul stated that the excitement, "the reveal," and the vacation had been "intense." He added that while in Tulum, his and Leti's personalities clashed. Leti also had things she wanted to discuss, especially about Saul discussing their relationship problems with other participants of the Netflix show.
"I feel like the person I met on holiday isn't exactly the same person I met inside the pods. It really hurt me when we were all sitting around the campfire, and you went and spoke to everybody and told them that you were giving your all, and that I was the one to blame for this, and that I'm a cold person," Leti said.
Saul, who was under the influence at the time of the incident, didn't remember calling her "cold." He apologized for the statement and noted that he might have overshared with the group.
The Love is Blind Mexico star added that he shouldn't have said anything and apologized for bothering her. Saul added that. he didn't realize it was an issue and he didn't mean to be "controlling." The reality star further apologized for being a "control freak."
Leti expressed her feelings and broke up with him. She assured him she truly wanted the family they had discussed having but stated she needed to go. Saul told her he understood and that it was "all good."
"I realized this is a pattern I keep repeating. Facing jealousy and control issues. And I felt I had to break it," Leti said in a confessional.
The male cast member told Leti that he hoped she would find the man of her dreams one day. He added that he hoped that man would give Leti everything she needed. Saul later chimed in on the break in a confessional and said he was happy he "felt love for someone."
"I don't regret it. I would've liked her to stay to work things out, but it is what it is," Saul said.
For the unversed, at the beginning of Love is Blind Mexico Episode 5, as the cast enjoyed their evening together, Saul spoke to Silvia and Gerardo about his issues with Leti. He stated that he felt that Leti didn't reciprocate the love he had and felt like she was making excuses.
