In episode 3 of the Netflix show W.A.G.s to Riches, one of Sharelle's former agents, Kenea, brought up concerns about Julz, alleging that she had heard the latter make negative comments about black women. Kenea reportedly felt personally affected as a black woman herself.
Mjaé, present during this conversation, decided to call Julz over to discuss the matter in person. When Julz arrived, Kenea accused her of being a "culture vulture." She denied the accusation and asked Kenea what she had done to support her community.
Julz pointed out that Kenea's job as a real estate agent did not necessarily contribute to her community. She took offense to this and brought up a past incident where Julz had considered wearing a shirt with a provocative slogan. The argument continued to intensify and Kenea asked Julz to calm down which irked her further.
"No, I'm not gonna relax, because today is not the motherf*cking day," stated Julz.
This resulted in a physical altercation, which ended when security intervened to separate the two women.
The rest of the W.A.G.s to Riches cast were concerned by Julz's behavior
The day after the fight, Alexis, Ashley, and Sharelle got together for drinks. Sharelle mentioned that Julz had reached out to her, claiming she was the only one who had not contacted her after the incident. Ashley and Alexis disputed this, saying they had also not contacted Julz. Sharelle expressed her disappointment with Julz for not taking responsibility for her actions during the fight.
"You acting like a barbarian in an establishment that's my friend, who's a Black business owner, and you wanna show your *ss," expressed Sharelle.
Sharelle further revealed on W.A.G.s to Riches that Julz had raised concerns regarding her bringing up the topic of having more kids. Alexis concluded that she might be insinuating that Sharelle's words had led her to hit Kenea. Ashley said that this was typical of Julz, which explained why people often misunderstood her.
Later, Porsha discussed the situation with her husband, pointing out that Julz was already aware of the online backlash. Porsha could not understand why Julz reacted strongly when confronted about the issue in person. She worried that her behavior could damage their reputation as successful Black entrepreneurs, which they had worked hard to build.
"You just can't ignore the fact that we're all a group of Black women sitting in predominantly Black establishment, and it reflected poorly on us, and y'all," claimed Porsha.
By the end of the W.A.G.s to Riches episode, Julz met Sadé and opened up about the conflict that had happened during the night out. Julz revealed that she was not happy with Sharelle when she asked her about having more kids. The reason behind this was that she recently had an abortion. As a result, she was triggered by Sharelle's words.
In a confessional on W.A.G.s to Riches, Julz shed tears as she revealed that she did want more kids but the father of her previous child did not, which is why they made the decision of not having another. Sadé sympathized with Julz and felt people who did not know her misunderstood who she was as a person.
