As the Vanderpump Rules franchise gears up for its 12th season, fans are eagerly speculating about the upcoming cast lineup. Peter Madrigal, a longtime cast member, hinted in a TMZ comment on November 29 that a familiar face might return, sparking excitement among viewers.

“We’ll see. I’m gonna tease," he said.

Though the upcoming season promises an entirely new group of SUR staff members, Peter’s remarks suggest that his connection to the show may not be entirely over. With his current role as the manager of SUR still intact, the possibility of his return to the cast has become a topic of much discussion.

Peter Madrigal's tease about his return in Vanderpump Rules

Peter Madrigal, an recurring cast member on Vanderpump Rules from seasons 1 to 8, recently dropped a significant teaser about his role on season 12. He appeared on TMZ and responded to questions regarding the great cast shakedown and how he feels about the whole situation.

Rather than confirming or denying his participation, he hinted that fans might still see him in the upcoming season. Peter said, expressing his appreciation for the show's history,

“I’m very grateful for all the time that I spent with everybody on the show. For ten seasons. Ten seasons. That’s a lot of seasons. That’s a lot of television."

When asked about the entirely new cast for season 12, Peter suggested that it might not be entirely true.

“You never know, it might be yours truly. You never know. I’m still managing this place. So that’s what I’m doing right now,” he continued.

He further teased the possibility by stating,

“There’s going to be a somewhat entirely new cast, but there might be a familiar face.”

This comment has left fans wondering if Peter will indeed return to the show, perhaps in a limited role, or if his connection to SUR will continue to bring him into the new season's events.

Vanderpump Rules season 12

The reality show Vanderpump Rules has officially kicked off season 12, and Bravo announced that the new season will introduce a completely new group of cast members. The new cast members will be described as a "close-knit group of SUR-vers" who are expected to bring drama, complicated relationships, and familiar dynamics to the show.

As Bravo announced the new cast members, it explained in a statement that they were as invested in each other as the last stars and would bring similar levels of intensity and personal conflicts. Lisa Vanderpump, the show’s central figure and owner of SUR, has expressed appreciation and commented on the changes, stating,

"The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another."

Though there's a cast change, it's more of the same with Vanderpump's presence as the focal point, and the next season will see the future crop of servers, hosts, and bartenders, trained by her. The show's executive producer, Alex Baskin, further added that the new season would build on the legacy of the series while introducing fresh faces and new dynamics, saying,

"With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together."

Vanderpump Rules season 12 is currently in production and will premiere in 2025. The exact premiere date and full cast details will be announced at a later time. Fans of the series can catch up on previous seasons on Peacock, BravoTV.com, and the Bravo app, which are home to all episodes from seasons 1 through 11.
