On the August 5th episode of the Trading Secrets podcast, Gia shared that even though she lives at home with her parents, Teresa and Luis Ruelas, she doesn’t get money from her parents.

"I am on my own in the way of — besides my living situation. I still do live at home with my family — but financially, I do cover everything myself. People think I live off of mommy and daddy’s money," Gia shared.

Jason asked Gia what she had planned for a rainy day and about her savings. She then shared how she had saved and that she was grateful for that because she recently got her dream car.

Synopsis for Trading Secrets podcast’s August 5 episode reads:

"Gia has spent the majority of her life growing up in front of the camera, having debuted on the hit reality show when she was just eight years old. Having gone through some major life experiences in front of millions, she’s been able to keep a steady mind for her family and her personal & professional growth."

As Gia revealed her "big girl purchase" she revealed she leased a Porsche, which has been her dream car since she was a kid. Before that, when she went to the University of Michigan for her freshman year, she used her sister Gabriella Guidice’s car. So after that, when she returned home for the summer in May, things were about to change.

"I wanted to save all these months because my dream car has always been a Porsche, so I was like, 'This is what I want to do.' And I was able to do that," Gia shared.

During the podcast, Gia also revealed that getting her dream car by herself was "the biggest accomplishment" she achieved.

While they were on the subject of finances, she also shared that her next step toward growing her net worth would be to explore New Jersey and start investing in properties there. Gia shared it was how her father got his career started. Similarly to that, she looks forward to buying a "two-family home" and,

"Take out a mortgage and start it from there."

Since she was 8, Gia Giudice has been part of RHONJ. She shared how she received "a lot of backlash" for that. Gia said that as much as she loved having a voice, and that too on Real Housewives of New Jersey, she faced backlash for that.

However, as she said, she didn’t let "those comments" affect her, but she felt uncomfortable when she found adults were talking about her.
