The Real Housewives of Potomac Mia Thornton confirmed that she was currently single during an interview at the show's reunion taping on January 9, 2025. Mia opened up about her relationship status during a backstage interview before the taping of the reunion for season 9 of Real Housewives of Potomac.
"I'm a single girl. We'll see how this plays out. Never been single a day in my life until today," Mia said.

Mia confirmed her single status following a public break-up with, Incognito or Inc., a radio host. The two rekindled their romance after having originally dated each other in high school but broke up on January 1, 2025, when Mia made the announcement.
She announced that they had ended their one-year-long romance that started in public in 2023 following Mia's divorce from Gordon Thornton. Even after they divorced, the Real Housewives of Potomac remained close to Gordon and even shared a picture of them together on Instagram.
"NEW Year. New Beginnings," she captioned the picture.
Mia also included hashtags such as "mom and dad" and "NYE 2025," and posted an Instagram Story the same day, featuring a diamond ring on her finger. This led to speculation about the status of her relationship with Gordon.
Expressing gratitude and optimism about the year ahead, The Real Housewives of Potomac star commented that she was "extremely grateful for 2024."
Mia’s split with Incognito
Mia's relationship with Inc. was trending on social media once she confirmed their breakup. According to her, it was for the children and to give a better outlook on a co-parenting relationship with Gordon, her estranged husband. She expressed this in a statement for The Shade Room on January 1, 2025, calling Inc. her "best friend," noting that he was "perfect in so many ways."
