Episode 16 of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta season 12, titled Thames the Brakes, aired on MTV on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The episode featured intense drama among the cast as personal tensions surfaced.

A major moment came when Scrappy firmly stated he was not friends with anyone at the table. This declaration followed a heated discussion about rumors regarding Scrappy’s personal life, particularly claims about an alleged baby on the way. During a confrontation at a London club, Karlie Redd directly questioned Scrappy, asking,

“Scrappy, do you have a baby on the way?”

Scrappy responded with frustration, saying,

“How y’all know without me knowing?”

As the discussion escalated, he defended himself, asserting,

“No, I'm not even talking about strong. I'm strong mentally and spiritually and emotionally. I did dealt with my demons. I know my life. Y’all don’t know it.”

He directly told Karlie that their friendship was not genuine. Bambi supported his stance, emphasizing that no one at the table could be considered friends.

Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta season 12 episode 16: What happened between the cast?

The club argument in Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta began when Zane brought up a discussion from the boat, questioning why others kept certain information about Scrappy. He expressed frustration over people talking behind his friend’s back, making it clear that he did not appreciate being left out of the conversation. Scrappy denied any secrets, stating,

“It ain't no secrets because you got to know what you're talking about.”

Karlie then confronted Scrappy with direct allegations about a rumored child, leading to a tense exchange. Amy Luciani chimed in, saying,

“I mean, it's supposedly a baby. I mean, it's supposed to be a baby in the streets by you."

When Karlie tried to justify their relationship by emphasizing their friendship, Scrappy immediately rejected the notion, making it clear that he did not see her as a true friend. Scrappy immediately shut her down, declaring,

“I’m not your friend. You’re a bad friend.”

Karlie then escalated the conversation by pointing out that Scrappy had been flirting with Amy for a long time. Bambi, however, dismissed the issue, making it clear that Scrappy was free to interact with whomever he wanted.

In his confessional on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, Scrappy denied any serious involvement with Amy, downplaying their exchanges as harmless social media interactions, emphasizing that such behavior was normal for a single man. Beyond Scrappy’s issues, Spice raised a question about Khaotic’s absence, asking,

“I want to ask a real question. How do you feel that he's (Khaotic) not here?”

Scrappy said he had encouraged Khaotic to stay, believing he should be present. Amy Luciani viewed the situation as a disagreement between two men with differing perspectives. Spice was frustrated, questioning how Khaotic could walk away from such an opportunity.

In his confessional on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, Scrappy expressed exhaustion over constantly having to defend himself, feeling like he was being unfairly put on the spot in a situation he believed was being blown out of proportion.

Amy later suggested that the group clear the air before the concert, acknowledging that Scrappy had unfriended and muted her on Instagram. She addressed him directly, saying,

“Scrap, I'm gonna break it down a second. So I just feel like, you know, even though me and you hung out that one time, to wake up and I was like, oh, I'm muted. I'm unfriended on Instagram. I don’t know what the hell I did last day.”

Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta airs Tuesdays at 8 pm PT/ET on MTV.
