Netflix released season 8 of Selling Sunset on September 6, 2024, featuring all 11 episodes. The reality series is known for stirring drama among its members, as many controversial things arise between the real estate brokers of the Oppenheim Group.

This season featured Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, Nicole Young, and new agent Alanna Whittaker Gold, alongside twins Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the owners of the Oppenheim Group.

Bre was notably involved in the drama, as things got heated between her and Chelsea after Bre revealed that Chelsea's husband was cheating on her, according to a trusted source. In an interview with US Weekly on October 4, Bre discussed the emotional toll of filming, stating that she might need some professional medical help to recover from it.

“I need therapy. I need a fifth of Vodka. It’s a lot and honestly, it’s really taxing. People don’t really understand,” Bre noted.

Bre also mentioned that while they are entertainers and can film the show due to viewers' interest in conflicts, dealing with such topics could get heavy for the cast members. She further explained that the cast does not know what topics the producers might cover, but watching it later brings "a lot of PTSD."

What happened between Bre and Chelsea on Selling Sunset season 8?

Bre joined Selling Sunset in 2023 and mentioned at the start of season 8 that she did not want to get into any conflicts. Although she and Chelsea had a strained relationship, both made efforts to act civil during their meetups.

Later, during a meetup with her friend Amanda Lynn, Amanda revealed that Chelsea’s husband, Jeff Lazkani, was seen getting too comfortable with someone else, according to a trusted source. This led to a drama that lasted the whole season, as Bre eventually told Chelsea about the same despite being hesitant to share that information with Chelsea.

Chelsea accused Bre of bringing up the sensitive topic in front of the cameras to create drama. She felt sad, as she had hoped Bre would talk to her outside the sets of Selling Sunset. Bre, on her part, always maintained that she was not interested in Chelsea's personal life and had no idea Amanda would state those things in front of the camera. Bre said:

“So I have the power to set up a scene? It was Amanda’s decision. None of you would know if I didn’t tell you. So who really had Chelsea’s back from the jump? First of all, I told you I was filming with Amanda. I gave you all the heads-up in advance and you guys were like, ‘OK.’”

The ongoing feud with Chelsea resulted in Bre’s friendships with Chrishell and Emma also suffering. In the interview, Bre expressed that she would not change how she approached Chelsea and wanted to stand by her actions.

“I said what I said. Do I wish it could have possibly gone different and Chelsea could just not be Chelsea? Yes. But here we are," Bre shared.

Bre also noted that she cannot control other people's actions, and the same can be said about herself. Addressing Chrishell's stance to choose Chelsea over her during the conflict on Selling Sunset, Bre stated that she still loves her as a person and understands that Chelsea and Chrishell had a relationship way before Bre entered the frame.

Bre shares her 2-year-old son with TV personality Nick Cannon and attended the Rookie Kids Fashion Show, where her son walked the ramp. Interested viewers can steam season 8 of Selling Sunset on Netflix to know what happened between Bre and Chelsea.
