Selling Sunset is set to return to Netflix with a brand new season on September 6, 2024. Besides providing a glimpse into the competitive luxury real-estate business of Los Angeles, the widely popular series also offers a peak into the private lives of the agents working strenuously to secure deals.

The upcoming season will be no different as agents of the infamous Oppenheim Group in Hollywood Hills, reunite to showcase luxury listings to potential buyers. However, as they strive to champion their professional skills, interpersonal tension and drama follow suit to disrupt peace. One such feud exists between Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young.

While Nicole thinks Chrishell is successful because of her past romantic relationship with their boss, Chrishell accuses her of creating unnecessary drama to get screen time. The tension between the two started in season 6 and seems to continue in season 8.

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Chrishell shared her views about an episode through an Instagram story. She targeted Nicole with the story, criticizing her demeanor on season 8 and calling her a "liar."

"I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued," Chrishell said.

Her story offered a disclaimer about a scene in the upcoming season of Selling Sunset. However, the exact content that piqued her rage is not clear yet.

What did Selling Sunset star Chrishell's Instagram story say?

43-year-old Chrishell took to Instagram on August 31 to share her thoughts about an episode, noting that she finished watching advanced screeners. In multiple slides, Chrishell jotted her opinion of the cast member. The cause of her rage seemed to stem from Nicole's comments about a close acquaintance of Chrishell's.

"Someone needs to take my phone bc....," she wrote in one of the slides.
"Are we really giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??," Chrishell added.

She also used a "Get Nicole Off My Screen Button" poll on her post, accusing Nicole of allegedly lying. The poll came with two options that were a testament to her opinion of the Selling Sunset cast member. One said "Yes!" while the other said "HEL YES!!"

Chrishell continued slamming Nicole as she mentioned she would rather get sued than work on another project with her. It reflected the tension that existed between the two cast members. In the next slide, Chrishell wrote:

"Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE [and] @done_and_done_productions you are disgusting for blindsiding [my friend] with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH."

Since Selling Sunset season 8 is yet to debut, the exact context of their current feud is still unknown. However, Chrishell appeared enraged by Nicole's behavior and took to Instagram to defend her "friend," whose identity she kept hidden.

Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani chimed in on the matter and criticized Nicole for allegedly lying on the show. On August 31, Chelsea shared her thoughts via Instagram Story, claiming that Nicole was referring to Emma Hernan in the scene. She continued criticizing Nicole for her lies.

"@itsnicoleyoung You are the most diabolical piece of [trash] I've ever met, you wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. Okay let's see how this works out for you...." Chelsea said.

She slammed the production house for not having a "moral ground" and their lack of "integrity." She accused Nicole and the producers of allegedly "spreading lies for views."

On the same day, Nicole addressed the accusations online via Instagram Story. The matter seemingly revolved around an extramarital affair. She urged Chrishell and Chelsea to ask their friend "some tough questions" instead of attacking her. She clarified she raised the topic as a "rumor," and hoped they would stand up for their friend since they were victims of extramarital affairs themselves.

Selling Sunset season 8 premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 6, 2024.
