Love is Blind UK season finale was full of surprises, disclosing whether the engaged couples would say yes at the wedding altar. It was a shock to the viewers when cast member Freddie— who was preparing for his wedding with Catherine— decided to part ways with his soon-to-be wife.

Recently, Catherine shared that she is dating someone from the show who she had talked to during the pods. At that time, however, Catherine was focused on maintaining a strong connection with Freddie and was not looking to explore more options.
On Friday, August 23, 2024, Catherine Richards made an appearance on the Bailiwick Express podcast where she shared her current relationship status. The Love is Blind UK star stated she is dating Jake Singleton-Hill who was also on the British version of the Netflix show. Catherine said she was the one who reached out to him in his DMs:

She was certain about her future with Freddie and that they would get married. Freddie, on the other hand, had doubts regarding their relationship and their lifestyle differences that would contribute to a possible rift in the future.
Eventually, the Love is Blind UK cast member said no at the wedding altar and Catherine was left heartbroken. During the Bailiwick Express podcast episode, Catherine shared a life update after the season finale filming had wrapped up. She hinted at "living together" with Jake Singleton-Hill and their dog. Richards said:
“I am with someone from the pods. I’m with a guy with a dog, and the dog lives with us."
Narrating the story of how they met, Richards shared she saw Jake on Instagram and decided to DM him. She had not met or seen him before so she wanted to check in. Catherine continued:
“I hadn’t seen him — because I had only seen Freddie and the couples on the retreat, I saw him on social and I was like, ‘Oh, that Jake! I wonder if he’s the one from the show?’”
The two instantly connected and would talk to each other on Facetime "every day" until they decided to meet in person. Catherine shared that the process was simple and smooth. After she went and visited him over a weekend, the two love birds soon planned to move in together. The Love is Blind UK star further mentioned:
“We were on FaceTime for about five hours that evening and then we spoke every day for five weeks. Then, I went to go and visit him for the weekend, and now we live together with the dog!”
