For the first time in the show's history, Quinn was greeted by Jerry O'Connell instead of Julie Chen Moonves, who was absent due to COVID-19. Quinn, a childhood fan of the show, described his eviction experience as a dream come true and praised the cast.

After his eviction on Thursday, September 12, he was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly on September 12, 2024. He opened up about his time on the show, his alliances, and Leah's denial to kiss him. When asked by the interviewer about Leah's denial, and he felt about it, Quinn answered:

"I respected it, and I would never try to push back and be like, Please, just kiss me, please! Oh my gosh, that just feels a little silly to me."

Quinn Martin opened up about his 'Soul crushing' eviction from Big Brother season 26

Quinn Martin, the eighth contestant to get evicted from the Big Brother house, scooped out his emotions in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, on September 13, 2024. Quinn shared in the interview, that he was stunned by the announcement of his name as the one to get evicted in week 8 of Big Brother. Kimo and Quinn were the final nominees, and Quinn was voted for only by Leah and Angela, the rest all voted for Kimo.

Quinn was shocked that his strategy did not pan out and only 2 people voted for him. He said in the interview:

"Hearing that I got voted out was soul-crushing, to say the least. I felt like I articulated my points so well before the vote, and so it was just super disappointing, and yeah, I'm just sad with the whole situation."

He further added:

"Every part of me wanted to be in that house. And so something like the vote being 4 to 2 was super hard to hear, and it's going to keep me up for years on end just because what could have been honestly is the core of it all."

Quinn was the first houseguest to get on to Jury duty in season 28 of Big Brother. Rubina presented him with a bracelet after his eviction, and it had 'Jury Duty' written over it. Quinn will now be a member of Jury House which will decide who will be the winner of the Big Brother season 26 in the finale, when only 2 houseguests are left. The last 7 evicted houseguests from the Jury in the show.

Quinn also opened up about his complex relationship with Leah and shared that he felt absolutely normal when Leah refused to kiss him when the house was trying to get her to do so. He said that they were not an exclusive couple, and it was such a large platform that he understood Leah's decision.

Quinn also shared that he regretted putting Joseph on the block, and it cost him later in the game. He also regretted attaching to Angela in the beginning and revealing to her aout his upgrade in Big Brother.

He said:

"I probably wouldn't have attached my wagon to Angela so quickly and enthusiastically with the foresight of "Hey, tomorrow she's going to call out this guy who seems nice enough." Yeah, I just would probably have kept that information to myself, but the Joseph vote I think was the devastating blow that cost me my life in this game."

Fans can tune into CBS every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday to watch Big Brother season 26.
