Netflix's Love Is Blind season 7 concluded after two couples got married by the end of the show. The show recently released the reunion episode of the latest season on October 30, 2024, featuring the pairing of Hannah and Nick. The two moved swimmingly past the pods and honeymoon phase but faced problems when they lived together.
To the disappointment of many Love Is Blind fans, Hannah and Nick ultimately broke up as things went awry. Hannah accused Nick of calling her a "grenade". Nick initially denied making the comments, eventually admitting to being "underwhelmed" by her looks.
Several cast members, including Marissa George, later corroborated Hannah's claims. Hannah revealed that Marissa had known the fact during the honeymoon phase but kept it from her since she didn’t wanna hurt Hannah's feelings.
In a November 1, 2024 interview with US Weekly, she addressed Nick's derogatory comments he allegedly made about her appearance. She felt like Nick was the type who would say the grenade comment. Hannah also disclosed that she thought Nick wasn’t that sexually attracted to her the entire time, whether he said it or not.
"He would make comments off camera where I kind of knew [that] we weren’t sexually compatible — like, it just wasn’t working. And so when I heard that, I wasn’t surprised but I think it just pissed me off because I was so honest about his looks,” stated Hannah.
Hannah wished Nick was more open during their relationship on Love Is Blind
After leaving the pods, Hannah acknowledged being cruel when expressing disappointment over Nick's height. She regretted her comments, recognizing Nick felt similarly but didn't vocalize his thoughts. Hannah believed Nick's honesty might have fostered a deeper connection.
Hannah attributed their issues to differing communication styles during their journey on Love Is Blind. Nick shared his feelings secretly or with friends, whereas Hannah was direct. Upon meeting in Mexico, Hannah openly discussed her disappointment with Nick's height, while he claimed it was love at first sight.
“I think that we just have very different communication styles. He feels the exact same way I feel, but he does it secretly or tells his friends. I’m upfront.
She further stated:
As soon as I met him, in Mexico, I was like, 'Look, after the reveal, I was upset. I thought you were taller than me. I didn’t think you’re not attractive, you’re really attractive. But at that moment, I just didn’t feel like that.’ He was like, ‘Really? It was love at first sight for me.’”
Despite their breakup, Hannah insisted she genuinely loved Nick during her time on Love Is Blind. Their prolonged relationship, she argued, was proof of genuine affection. Although their relationship ended poorly, Hannah cherished the sweet moments they shared.
During the reunion episode, Hannah revealed discovering Nick's "90-day goals" list, which included becoming the most famous Love Is Blind contestant. Nick downplayed the list, claiming it predated his casting on the dating show.
Hannah found the note post-breakup and briefly tried reconnecting with him without cameras. However, they didn't reconnect, and subsequent revelations about Nick's behind-the-scenes comments led Hannah to block him for a year.
According to Tudum By Netflix, Hannah is in her “selfish season” and lives with her dog Luna. The Love Is Blind star revealed her plans to become the best person she "can possibly be, both mentally and physically.”
As part of that process, she has been deprioritizing romantic relationships. : “I’m not dating or doing anything like that.” In the pods, she connected with Leo as well. Hannah admitted to being “curious” to see if they could reignite the flame between them but also revealed that they had not talked since.
