Love Is Blind UK aired its first season on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, and released five new episodes on August 14. The UK edition follows the same concept as its American predecessor, where 30 participants seek a life partner while not being able to see each other. The participants must form a genuine emotional bond before a physical relationship.
In Love Is Blind UK, Natasha made a strong connection with Tom, and even confessed her feelings towards him. By this point, Tom had already made up his mind about choosing Maria and tearfully revealed the same to Natasha. Tom and Maria got engaged and flew with other couples to Corfu, Greece.
Episode 8 saw the return of all the rejected singles and join the couples in the real world. Hesitant to meet Natasha, Tom gathered up the courage and had a conversation regarding the tension between them in hopes of clearing it up.
After exchanging pleasantries, Natasha noticed Tom was feeling awkward with the situation. She comforted her by expressing her genuine care towards Tom and said that she would respect whatever he decides to do because she still loved him.
"I mean, I know I told you I'd fallen in love with you. I meant that when I said it," expressed Natasha.
The journey of Natasha and Tom in Love Is Blind UK, explored
Tom and Natasha, met in the second episode of Love Is Blind UK. They both connected instantly, although Tom was also making great strides with Maria as well. Natasha opened up to Tom about the weight issues she had to deal with since her childhood, which resulted in her having low self-esteem.
She also had concerns regarding her future partner seeing her as a "skinny blonde girl" or a trophy wife. She was looking for "someone to do life with".
Tom comforted her and shared his own troubles. He revealed that he had difficulty opening up to anyone, especially people close to him.
"When I was younger, I didn't really... I come from a single-parent family, like a broken family," expressed Tom.
Following their several dates, Tom started having feelings for Natasha and talked about her with other male participants in Love Is Blind UK. He gushed about her "weird laugh" and explained the ease with which he was able to share intimate details about himself to a stranger behind a wall.
In later episodes, as Tom's connection with Maria grew stronger, Tom was concerned with his conflicted feelings towards Maria and Natasha. He went on another date with Natasha and expressed his concerns about not having emotional or physical connection with her. Natasha tearfully said goodbye to Tom who stated that getting engaged to her felt like a gamble.
As mentioned earlier, episode 8 of Love Is Blind UK saw former participants who got rejected by the couples come back and have a drink with the rest of the cast. The conversation started lightheartedly, but Natasha soon expressed her unresolved feelings towards Tom. After their heartfelt conversation regarding the past and hoping for the best in the future, Tom expressed his mixed emotions,
"The conversation with Natasha was a little bit difficult. She was pretty open about the kind of the strength of the feelings that she had towards me, and it's difficult to hear that because there's a lot of unresolved connections."
Maria proceeded to cut the conversation short, and asked Tom to join her on the other side of the room, leaving Maria on her own for the rest of the night.
