"I've fallen in love with you" — Love is Blind: UK stars Bobby and Jasmine get engaged in Episode 3

Love is Blind: UK premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The popular Love is Blind franchise transported the experiment to the UK, allowing eligible singles to embark on a journey of finding love.

The show featured Emma and Matt Willis as its hosts. Together they welcomed the cast members, urging them to form connections and explore options in the infamous pods. Two individuals succeeded at finding compatible partners early on in the show. Bobby and Jasmine consolidated their relationship and got engaged in Episode 3.

During their engagement ceremony, Bobby said:

The couple's journey began in Episode 1, where they shared deep and meaningful conversations about family dynamics. They were immediately drawn to each other and in Episode 2, the Love is Blind: UK couple professed their feelings and agreed to get engaged.

Love is Blind: UK star Jasmine got emotional as Bobby went down on one knee

Bobby, 33, realized how deep his love for 29-year-old Jasmine was in Episode 2. As a result, he decided to officialize their relationship with a heartfelt proposal.

"This is the best kind of feeling and the best kind of love I would say I've ever experienced before," said Bobby.

Bobby wrote a romantic letter for Jasmine hoping to convey his feelings to her. He mentioned she was the "queen" and the "wife" he longed for. He vowed to love, support, and protect her throughout life. His confession moved Jasmine to tears. He even thanked her for inspiring him to "be a better man."

The Love is Blind: UK cast member mustered his courage and asked Jasmine for her hand in marriage. She happily accepted his proposal and agreed to marry him. She stated that she knew he was the one for her and that everything around her hinted at the same.

"He proposed to me, so yeah, he's my man now. He's been my man since day one, but, like, you know, he's officially my man," said Jasmine.

In Episode 3, the duo got ready to meet each other for the first time. They were excited about their encounter and looked forward to continuing the rest of their journey as an engaged couple. Bobby confessed his heart was "pumping" thinking about Jasmine. He hoped she would not be disappointed by his appearance.

On the other hand, Jasmine admitted Bobby made her feel loved by accepting her for who she was. Her past relationships had been "unfulfilling" but her connection with Bobby felt "the complete opposite."

Despite all the nerves, the Love is Blind: UK couple ran to embrace each other once the doors opened. Jasmine thought Bobby looked "cute," while Bobby confessed Jasmine looked like an "absolute stunner."

Bobby immediately went down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and confessed his feelings to Jasmine.

"This moment right now is by far the best moment of my life. It's just the most beautiful thing in the world. I came into this with an open mind and an open heart but never in a million years did I think I would meet somebody as beautiful. And you're as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside," said Bobby.

Jasmine agreed to be his wife as he vowed to be her best friend and a better version of himself. As he slid the ring on Jasmine's finger, she stated he felt like "home" to her. The Love is Blind: UK couple embraced and kissed each other.

While speaking to the cameras, Jasmine confessed she felt warm whenever she looked at Bobby.

"I'm engaged. I've got a fiancee. So I'm over the moon," mentioned Bobby.

The Love is Blind: UK star revealed he was as attracted to Jasmine physically as he was emotionally. During his confessional, he mentioned she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
