"I want to go home" - Too Hot To Handle star Lucy breaks down seeing Charlie and Katherine together

Too Hot To Handle season 6's latest batch of episodes, which aired on Friday, July 26, 2024, saw Lucy Syed go through a hard time as her partner, Charlie ended their relationship to pursue Katherine LaPrell.

However, Charlie didn't provide her with the complete information and only told her he couldn't see himself committing to her. Although Lucy was disappointed, she didn't initially blame Charlie for ending things.

But when she found out about Katherine, she broke down crying. She also felt that despite not having been told by them, the new relationship was being "paraded in her face. Lucy started crying, watching the two hold hands and get to know each other better. While in conversation with Gianna and Kylisha, she said:

"He knew this morning, lying in bed with me. And I had my head literally on Charlie's chest. F**k this. I want my mom, I want to go home."

What happened between Charlie, Lucy, and Katherine in Too Hot To Handle season 6?

Too Hot To Handle season 6 premiered on July 19, 2024 on Netflix. Charlie was sent to the banishment quarters after kissing 3 women, including Lucy, Katherine, and Kylisha. During the first party of the series, while playing a game, all three picked Charlie for their dares.

He chose Lucy to act on his task, solidifying his interest in her. However, Lucy was unhappy when she found out what Charlie had been up to. But the latter promised to make it up to her upon his return to the villa.

The Too Hot To Handle season 6 couple was one of the few who didn't break any rules during the first four episodes, but not for the lack of effort on Charlie's part. In episode 5, which aired on Friday, July 26, 2024, he expressed his frustrations about Lucy not wanting to break the rules with him, eventually leading to him seeking other women out.

In the same episode, he expressed an interest in Katherine after a workshop, as he told her he wanted to kiss her. Katherine and Charlie ended things with their respective partners and grew closer together.

Although Katherine told Louis, her previous partner on Too Hot To Handle season 6 that she was ending their relationship to pursue Charlie, the latter didn't do the same. He simply told Lucy he didn't see himself committing to anyone. Although the female cast member was disappointed, she praised Charlie for being honest about his feelings.

Her feelings quickly turned to anger when Louis told her that Katherine and Charlie were pursuing one another, which left her in tears.

"There really was another woman, my heart hurts," Lucy sobbed in Joao's arms.

Later in a confessional, she elaborated on her feelings and said it felt like someone "punched her." She added:

"This just really hurts because I actually did let my guard down. Like, I feel stupid."

Later in the episode, as the day came to an end, Charlie and Katherine walked into the bedroom holding hands, which further upset Lucy. The Too Hot To Handle season 6 cast member said it felt like the two were parading their relationship "a little bit." Lucy said in a confessional:

"Stop smiling at each other. Stop the smugness. I'm just gobsmacked. It's just disrespectful."

While speaking to Gianna and Kylisha, she sarcastically called the situation "fun." She added that Charlie never said anything to her about Katherine. Lucy said that the Too Hot To Handle season 6 participant "never came up" in the conversation and criticized the two for holding hands in front of her.
