Season 8 of Selling Sunset premiered on Netflix on September 6. The streaming platform put out all 11 episodes of the season together, so fans could go on a binge spree. And they did, which was evident from the fan reactions to notable moments of the show.

Mary and Chelsea feuded big after Mary complained to the bosses about the length of Chelsea's dress, which she thought jeopardized their company's reputation. When they confronted each other at Amanza's party, their conversation quickly broke into a fight and they began taking digs at each other for their actions.

Mary's husband, Romaine, intervened in the argument and kept touching Chelsea on the shoulder, trying to ask her to back out. Chelsea kept pushing his hands away and asked Mary not to put her husband in the middle of this. Mary defended her husband, saying he was just protecting her. After Chelsea walked away from the two of them, Romaine turned to the bartender and said he wanted a "black don't crack."

Fans of Selling Sunset have taken to X to call out Mary's husband for jumping into their conversation. They are also criticizing Mary for letting him do it. They also took note of his touches and said they were uncalled for. Some of them also deemed him "racist" for asking the bartender to serve that specific drink.

"Mary’s husband putting his hands on Chelsea while they’re arguing?? Oh absolutely tf not. immediate jail time," said one fan.
"Mary your husband is a LOSER!!!!! Why is his huge rhinoceros *ss pressing WOMEN?! Get your man n check!" said another fan.
"Why is Mary’s husband touching Chelsea and putting his hand around her face," said a third one.
"Mary allowing her husband to participate and put his hands on Chelsea is crazy to me," wrote another X user.

Many Selling Sunset fans were calling out Romaine for intervening in a feud that had nothing to do with him; some also called him racist.

"'Can I have the black don’t crack' that felt very racist to me idk," a fan commented.
"Mary and her fruitcake of a husband GOTTA go, the racism after that argument was insane actually-," said another fan.
"I’m sorry but Marys husband calling Chelsea spicy was loaded, and why is he in women’s business, loser," a user wrote.
"Mary why would you allow your husband as a man confront another woman about an issue you have with her? Make sense," wrote another.

The feud between Mary and Chelsea in episode 3 of Selling Sunset season 8

At Amanza's party in episode 3 of Selling Sunset season 8, Mary pulled Chelsea aside to have a chat. She told her she wanted to move forward from their feud.

Chelsea pointed out that Mary called her a "pot stirrer" and also found her dressing sense inappropriate, so she didn't know if she actually cared to have a relationship with her.

Mary argued that she always wanted to be friends with Chelsea until she received her text message that said, "Keep my name out of your f*cking mouth," which Chelsea sent her after she found out Mary had called her a "pot stirrer."

Romaine intervened when things got heated between the two and they were going off at each other. He kept touching Chelsea on the shoulder, holding her hand, and she kept pushing him away.

She then bit back at Mary and said she wouldn't call her husband if she was fighting with her girlfriends because she could stand up for herself. Mary had no answer for this, so she just walked away, saying she needed a drink.

All 8 seasons of Selling Sunset are available to watch on Netflix.
