The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 7 premiered on December 11. The episode marked the beginning of the second phase of the show, in which the contestants needed to return to their original partners and apply what they learned from their trial marriage to their original relationships.

During the Change Over segment, Scotty and Zaina reflected on their trial marriage. Zaina felt that while their trial marriage started great, she started to feel interrogated by her trial husband after the guy's night.

Meanwhile, Scotty felt that his character was attacked and accused Zaina of inserting "pettiness" into their relationship.

"I was upset. Anytime your character is attacked that viscerally, you'll feel some type of way... The thing that bothered me most was that I felt like Zaina chose to insert pettiness into our relationship that to me, was unacceptable," he said.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star Zaina felt "interrogated" by Scotty about her ex-J.R.

Zaina, who came onto the show with J.R., entered into a trial marriage with Scotty after establishing an understanding relationship with the fellow contestant.

During the Change Over segment in The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 7, she shared that her trial marriage with Scotty "started out beautiful". She highlighted the value of entering a relationship with the willingness to commit while also using past experiences as a medium to improve.

Zaina explained that this allowed couples to establish an atmosphere of support that helped both involved individuals to fully invest in the relationship.

"Our trial marriage started out beautiful. You genuinely want to get married. You want to be in a relationship. You genuinely want to be there for the people that you love. You're not letting your past kind of hold you back, but you use those as lessons to improve. And that energy just allows space for your partner to show up," she said.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 contestant added that she and Scotty genuinly showed up for each other during their trial marriage.

However, following the "Guys' Night," where tensions flared between Scotty and J.R., Zaina began to feel overwhelmed by what she described as constant interrogation from her trial husband, leaving her feeling attacked.

"But after Guy's Night, whatever happened transferred over into our trial marriage, where I felt interrogated. "Have you spoken to J.R.?" "You're up late texting." "Is it J.R.?" Like, J.R. knew nothing about our trial marriage at all," Zaina further shared.

Scotty chimed in and said that he was upset by his last few interactions with Zaina. He felt that his character was attacked, and it left him with a bad taste.

He insinuated and implied that he wasn't like J.R., who allegedly didn't care about what others thought of him. He accused Zaina of inserting pettiness into their relationship, which he believed was unacceptable.

"We didn't come in here with rules. We tried to respect each other in our trial marriages. So, to be met with that type of accusation is ridiculous," Zaina responded.

J.R. attempted to share his perspective, admitting he might have said something to Scotty that could have rubbed him the wrong way. However, Scotty was unwilling to listen to any explanation from The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star.

Scotty then discussed the positive side of the trial marriage and praised Zaina for being a good partner to him. She shared that his trial wife had many qualities that would make her a "great wife one day."

"I know that in a marriage, you [Zaina] will go to the ends of the earth for the people that you love. I feel like you've helped me evolve in terms of my view on marriage and commitment because I know now how important it is for you to be on the same team All the time, not just sometimes," The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star continued.
