The latest episodes of Love is Blind: Argentina, released on November 13, highlighted the evolving relationship between Maria and Mauricio, a couple who connected in the pods and got engaged. In episode 6, Maria opened up about the communication challenges she faced with Mauricio now that they were living together.

Reflecting on the difference between their pod conversations and their current dynamic, Maria shared,

“I feel the way we talked in the pods is completely different to how we talk to each other now that we're living together. It kind of hurts a little.”

During a conversation, Maria tried to express something personal but was interrupted by Mauricio’s comments on the apartment. She said this interruption bothered her, and she later voiced her concerns to Mauricio directly, explaining how such moments affected her sense of connection.

Maria and Mauricio navigating communication differences in Love is Blind: Argentina

At the beginning of episode 6 of Love is Blind: Argentina, Maria, and Mauricio were sitting with all the other couples and shared their experiences about living together. She mentioned that she joined this experiment in the hope of finding love, and their last few dates helped them connect more with each other.

After the group chat, Maria attempted to discuss something meaningful in their apartment, but Mauricio interrupted with a remark about items there. She expressed her feelings, saying,

"With us, there were times when you were not listening. Or I was talking, and you interrupted me."

Maria pointed out a specific instance where she had been talking about Federico, but Mauricio shifted the topic to a cup in the apartment. In a private confessional, Maria reflected,

“For me, it was difficult to speak about what I was feeling because I didn’t like conflict."

As their conversation continued in Love is Blind: Argentina, Mauricio received a call from his daughter Pia, which further paused their discussion. Afterward, Maria decided to go to bed, suggesting they would continue their conversation the next day. Mauricio noted that neither he nor Maria actively sought conflict, and they are working on getting their relationship back on track.

Maria and Mauricio connect through Bachata dance in Love is Blind: Argentina

To improve their connection, Maria introduced Mauricio to Bachata dancing, a hobby she had pursued since the previous year. According to her, Bachata was a sensual form of dance, and experiencing it together could strengthen a couple's connection. Mauricio admitted,

“I don’t like bachata at all, so it was going to be a real challenge for me,” though he participated in the class.

During the dance session, she shared that they both had a lot of fun dancing together, and it would help them improve their verbal communication as well. Following the session, he acknowledged the positive experience, sharing that it took a second for him to loosen up, but he had a good time with her.

Maria expressed in a confessional that even though this activity was fun for them, they still had room to work on their communication and feel more comfortable in their physical connection.

“We needed to feel more secure in terms of our physical connection.” she stated

Maria also mentioned that they still had time left in the experiment to continue improving their communication, and they would be okay.
