All eleven episodes of Selling Sunset season 8 premiered on Netflix on September 6, 2024. The season saw a blend of opulent real estate deals and intense interpersonal conflicts between the agents at The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles.
Chelsea Lazkani, Bre Tiesi, and Amanda Lynn were among those involved in a dramatic incident. Chelsea recently spoke about the situation on social media, alleging that Bre staged important sequences involving the rumors of the former's then-husband Jeff's infidelity.
In her most recent X post on September 5, Chelsea wrote in part that the entire scenario was premeditated and carefully staged for the cameras in Selling Sunset.
"It was all premeditated, I just handled it the best way I could." she wrote.
Selling Sunset stars Chelsea, Bre, and Amanda's infidelity allegations and the impact
Amanda Lynn called Bre Tiesi during one of her real estate shows on season 8 of Selling Sunset. Amanda revealed that she had witnessed Chelsea's then-husband, Jeff Lazkani, with another woman. This phone call laid the groundwork for a future sit-down session between Bre and Amanda, during which the claims were discussed in front of cameras.
Bre later notified Chelsea about the claims, causing a conflict. Chelsea expressed her dissatisfaction, accusing Bre of deliberately dragging this situation into the public eye rather than dealing with it quietly. Chelsea believed that the way the news about Jeff was provided to her was intended to inflict harm.
For the unversed, Chelsea filed for divorce In March 2024, citing Jeff's alleged infidelity. However, Jeff did not publicly respond to these charges.
Chelsea’s response and accusations of premeditation
On September 7, Chelsea Lazkani took to X to offer her version of the events. She wrote:
“Pt 1: Outside of filming Amanda contacted Bre about ‘tea’ — while filming, Bre orchestrated a fake call during her showing which ‘led to a sit-down scene with Amanda.’”
Chelsea claimed that Bre was already aware of Amanda’s accusations before filming and had coordinated with the production team to stage the phone call and meeting for Selling Sunset. Chelsea also shared that she did not know what was about to be revealed during the scene. She explained on Selling Sunset about her frustration with Bre's approach, stating:
"If you bring something to camera to implode my life — as opposed to just calling me — you will do it on camera."
Chelsea added that she only wanted to hear the information directly from Bre to avoid rumors spreading further before reaching her.
Chelsea’s allegations about Amanda and further developments
In addition to her claims about Bre, Chelsea also made statements regarding Amanda Lynn’s involvement. Chelsea alleged that Amanda was brought onto Selling Sunset to tarnish her reputation. As mentioned earlier, Chelsea wrote in her X post on September 5, 2024:
“Bre brought her racist friend on the show to try to ruin me. Never met the Amanda girl a day in my life but her & Bre in her words wanted to ‘take me down’. I took the scene because it was already a storyline.’”
She suggested that Amanda and Bre intended to cause trouble for her and that she only participated in the scene because it was already part of Selling Sunset’s storyline. Chelsea shared that she tried to handle the situation as best as she could, despite feeling that it was designed to negatively impact her.
Bre Tiesi’s denial and public reaction
Bre Tiesi denied that she was aware of the accusations prior to the sit-down scene with Amanda. According to Bre, she did not know the full extent of Amanda’s allegations until they met on camera. Bre didn't provide additional comments about Chelsea’s claims but posted a quote on her Instagram Story on Saturday, September 7, accompanied by a kissing face emoji that read:
“Remember this: No one is more committed to trashing your name than the person who is worried about you telling the truth.”
Bre didn't engage further with the ongoing discussion, leaving the situation between her and Chelsea unresolved in terms of public statements.
