Love and Marriage: Huntsville season 9 premiered on November 2, 2024. In the newly released episode 8, cast members Latricia and Marques got into an argument.
As fans already know, they both parted ways and discussed methods of co-parenting their kids together. However, their conversation escalated into a verbal disagreement when Marques pointed out Latricia's behavior during their marriage. Latricia stated she didn't care about what happened in the past and wanted to shift her focus towards what's best for their children.
Upon hearing this, Marques said:

In Love and Marriage: Huntsville season 9 episode 8, Latricia and Marques met each other to discuss how they would co-parent their kids. The two, however, soon got into an argument when Latricia asked Marques to "show up" for his children. Marques stated he had been a good husband but he wasn't sure if Latricia set up "an example" of her being a "good wife."
He pointed out Latricia's behavior of arguing with him while they were married. He further said:
"You literally used to do this all the time."
The Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Latricia told Marques that she was not interested in discussing the past and didn't care about what went down between them. She added:
"Who cares about what used to happen? I don't care about what happened in the past. All you gotta do is show up."
Marques felt offended when Latricia asked him to "show up" for his family. He asked why Latricia was acting as if he was emotionally unavailable for his kids. Marques continued saying that he was in contact with his children and talked to them every day:
"First of all, I have always shown up. Do I not talk to the kids every day? why are you playing as if I'm not a part of their life and I just left them? And I've been gone for six years and he's been taking care of them."
The two calmed down a bit after Latricia changed the focus of their discussion and told Marques that their main priority should be their kids. Then, Marques shared plans to move closer to the kids.
