What happened between Kazuto and Alan on The Boyfriend episode 10? Details explored
In episode 10, the housemates received a message. According to the text, Kazuto was in charge of the shift that day. He asked Alan to go on a work shift with him, to which Alan gladly joined. They had a good day at work and had a great time together.
While they were returning from their shift, they sat in a quiet restaurant as Kazuto wanted to share something with Alan.
Kazuto started with:
"There’s something I want to tell you. There are some things I’d like to say. I feel like I’ve grown in so many areas of my life because I’ve met you."
He shared further that he had never really been comfortable expressing himself in words. It was because it was all new for him and that it had been challenging.
Acknowledging Alan's ability to express his thoughts freely with others, Kazuto admitted that whenever he saw Alan he told himself:
"I wish I could be more like Alan."
Kazuto replied that he was happy that they met and appreciated it a lot.
Kazuto shared with Alan that he felt a special connection with him:
"You know, we have three days left including today, and when I think about how all this is going to end, I can’t help but think about life after it, right? It’s been on my mind a lot. I have a connection with you that’s special, compared to the others in the Green Room. That’s one of the things I’ve been thinking about.
Kazuto continued:
"But honestly, I’m still figuring out how I feel about you, and I keep playing back our time together and what we’ve shared."
The 27-year-old contestant also said that he didn’t have an answer for Alan, but wanted to let him know that he (Kazuto) was trying to sort it out in his head. He was still processing it all.
Kazuto opened up to Alan and said that when he loves someone, he tends to think that he wants to be with that person for the rest of his life. However, based on Kazuto’s past experiences, he added that it takes him “pretty long time” to get there.
The Boyfriend cast member concluded his heartfelt confession to Alan with the following statement:
"And trying to make up my mind during my time at the Green Room has been, in my mind, it’s been difficult. I wanted to tell you I’m grateful I was able to meet you before our time in the house together ends."
Alan thanked Kazuto for sharing all these things, and they smiled at each other and sat there for some time before heading to the Green Room.
