Love is Blind Mexico released its final two episodes (9-10) on August 15, 2024, on Netflix. In the show, 30 participants enter the pods to find the love of their life. The twist is that the participants must do so with a wall in between them, thus forcing them to form an emotional connection over a physical one.

The Love Is Blind Mexico finale followed the journey of the final couples—Willy and Francesca, Rene and Irais, Karen and Fernando, and Chema and Silvia—from the pods to the altar. In episode 9, Willy and Francesca had a major fight during their bachelor and bachelorette parties when Willy expressed doubts about getting married so soon. Francesca called him a "coward" and told him to leave the apartment.

In the finale, Francesca patched up her relationship with Willy when they got some one-on-one time and complimented each other for persevering through tough situations and helping each other grow throughout this journey. As Francesca was about to walk to the altar, she was greeted by her aunt who came to have a word with her.

When her aunt asked her about the relationship, Francesca explained that Willy had a calm personality that she liked but he also was unsure about their relationship, a fact she didn't like.

"It's been crazy. He's somebody who's very calm and simple. And those are great tools to have in this world. But he's also scared and insecure, and I can tell that he's innocent," stated Francesca.

The couple decided to end things in the finale after both exchanged meaningful words with each other in front of their family and friends.

Francesca and Willy's journey on Love Is Blind Mexico

The couple met in episode 3 of Love is Blind Mexico and from the start, Willy showed concerns regarding the success rate of the experiment and claimed it is difficult to find love in such circumstances. He went on to compliment Francesca for helping him overcome his fear as he felt more at ease with her.

"I know he is not just sweet-talking. I know it is real, but of course, the fear is there because I am vulnerable, and it has happened before," Francesca stated.

Francesca opened up to Willy and talked about her 11-year-old daughter, Mila, and the fear of her future partner not being able to adjust to her daughter. Willy assured her that he would love to have Mila in his life and would welcome any situation with open arms.

They proposed to each other and flew to Tulum with other engaged couples. The situation between the couple seemed stable until cracks started to emerge as soon as they moved in together.

During the run of Love is Blind Mexico, Willy stated multiple times that he was nervous about getting married and after the bachelor and bachelorette party, he shared his opinion with Francesca and pondered if they should separate and they were not compatible.

As mentioned before, a big fight ensued between the couple which resulted in Francesca showing the door to Willy. He eventually came back the same night and made up with her.

Meanwhile, in the finale, they agreed to meet up in an empty theater. Francesca couldn't hold back her tears looking at the surroundings as it brought back memories of her acting in the theater when she was just four years old. Willy expressed gratitude for giving him another chance but the couple ended things between them for the final time when they went up at the altar.

Love Is Blind Mexico can be streamed in its entirety on Netflix.
