Married to Medicine's Phaedra Parks' insights on love relationships
During the panel discussion, Phaedra Parks shared that she is dating someone new, describing the relationship as “delicious.” Parks added that age difference doesn’t seem to be a concern for her.
“You know, he's young... very early 30's...I like to have fun.” she said.
Additionally, this new relationship will likely play a role in upcoming episodes of Married to Medicine Season 11 and The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16. Parks kept most other details under wraps, urging viewers to tune in to learn more about her mystery man.
Talk about marriage
While Phaedra Parks said that she is enjoying her new relationship, she mentioned that she is still hesitant about the idea of marriage. The reality TV star further stated:
“I don’t want to be married again...Well, you know, maybe. That's not something I'm interested in, because I'm very wealthy, and I can take care of myself.”
Parks cited her financial independence and desire for autonomy as key reasons for her reluctance to tie the knot again.
“I like to be able to call the shots.”
Parks explained, adding humorously that being married sometimes requires being “nice." With a playful expression, she said:
"Women, you know, when you have a husband, sometimes you gotta be.....nice."
She previously expressed similar sentiments during Married to Medicine season 10, emphasizing that high-earning individuals face risks in marriage and suggesting that relationships don’t always need formal labels.
"I don't think you have to put a label on something...and I think for people who are high-income people, it's too dangerous to get married." she added.
Dating fellow cast members
During the Bravo Fan Fest, Parks made it clear that she would not consider dating anyone connected to her fellow cast members, particularly their ex-partners. When asked about this, she responded firmly:
“Hell no. There’s too much sand at the beach to recycle the sand. I would just be grossed out by that...any Housewives husbands...for me, it's a no-no.”
As for her past, Parks revealed that co-parenting with her ex-husband, Apollo Nida is “going great.” Sharing two sons with him, she mentioned during the interview that the children live with her full-time. She said that Nida regularly spends weekends with the kids, adding:
"He likes to take them,"
With appearances on two Bravo shows, viewers will have the opportunity to learn more about this new chapter in Phaedra Parks' life as it develops on screen. Keep up the excitement with more on Married to Medicine and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
