Love Island USA season 6 finale and reunion has finally aired, leaving fans more curious about the off-camera drama. One of the bombshells who entered the villa was recently vocal about her experience filming the show alongside Vanderpump Rules star and Peacock show host Ariana Madix.
In her Tiktok Live, Daia McGhee shared that she wasn't getting a chance to speak at the reunion and had to talk to the producers. She also said that the show host, Ariana Madix, was choosing sides and was not neutral about who she liked from the cast. During the question-answer session, Ariana was looking for answers, and most of the cast wasn't ready to reply.
As per Daia, Madix implied she was treated "way worse" and compared her journey on Vanderpump Rules to the contestants' on Love Island USA. Daia mentioned:

“I just feel like as a host of the show it’s your job to not pick favorites. It’s your job to just be the mediator in the situation. It’s your job to ask the questions that people actually want to see.”
Daia McGhee talked about filming Love Island USA season 6 reunion with Ariana Madix
Daia McGhee shared about the specific event when Ariana asked the Love Island USA cast to raise their hands if they felt like Leah Kateb was one of the reasons why Andrea Carmona was sent home. The conversation mentioned other cast members including Liv Walker and Rob Rausch.
According to Daia, none of the cast members were ready to raise their hands and Ariana was convincing them to be more open and honest. She asked the question again in hopes that someone might raise their hand.
McGhee shared that Ariana stated that her experience on Vanderpump Rules was way worse than what the Love Island cast was going through. McGhee was upset at Ariana's behavior, she narrated:
“She was like, ‘Come on, guys, I’ve been on a reality TV show and I got treated way worse than you guys, and you guys need to pretty much get over it. I’m like, ‘Girl, this is not about you. This is Love Island. This is not Vanderpump Rules or whatever show you were on."
The Love Island USA bombshell continued stating that it wasn't Ariana's place to bring up her own past experiences. She even criticized the Vanderpump Rules star, saying that the Peacock show had done better than the Bravo series Ariana was on.
As per McGhee, Madix should have been more neutral about the situation, and rather than taking sides or picking favorites she should've asked questions "viewers wanted to see." McGhee mentioned:
“Respectfully, as a host you don’t say your experience was way worse than what we are going through, because at the end of the day Love Island’s numbers did way bigger.”
She also stated that Ariana didn't give her the opportunity to speak either.
“Ariana was getting ready to end the reunion, and I hadn’t gotten a chance to speak. I was like, ‘Are you not going to address anything with me? Why did you bring me here to not speak, when you told me I was going to have the opportunity to speak?’”
