“It's kind of complicated”— Too Hot To Handle season 6 winners Bri and Demari open up about navigating life outside the show

The finale of Too Hot To Handle season 6 premiered on Netflix on August 2, 2024. The season, which began on July 19, 2024, introduced new twists and featured returning contestants alongside new arrivals.

Hosted by Lana and her sidekick 'Bad Lana,' the show saw Bri and Demari emerge as the winning couple. Despite facing challenges, temptations, and past issues like Bri kissing several men and Demari kissing Valentina, they overcame these obstacles and stayed strong together.

In an August 2 interview with People Demari admits:

"It's complicated, We're working on things ... It was real in there, but it was such a small window. So we've been trying to learn each other on the outside [and] figure things out."

Winners Bri and Demari from Too Hot To Handle season 6 reflect on their lives outside the show.

Bri and Demari were voted as the winners by the contestants in the finale of Too Hot To Handle season 6. The couple had a rollercoaster ride but did surely come around as a strong couple and won the prize and hearts. The couple is navigating on their life outside of the show, and trying to make it work.

In a recent interview with People, the couple opened up about their journey in the Too Hot To Handle, and how they feel their lives are evolving in the real world. Both tend to agree on the fact that they were invested completely in each other show but now they are figuring things out.

Bri said in an interview with People:

"At first when we came out of the villa, it seemed fairly easy because we were FaceTiming every night, but he is in a different time zone, so it did start to get really difficult. And then he told me that he was having delayed reactions from the whole experience, and so we just decided to take a break, separate for a little bit and we actually weren't speaking for a while."

Demari also agrees with Bri on this break and opens up that it is difficult to work things out in the real world as they have different variables working at play. But at the same time, he also said in the interview that he finds these things to be normal in any relationship. He thinks giving a little break to each other and figuring things out is the way to go for now.

As reported by the People, the couple is on a break, which they like to call the 'BriMari break'. However, they have met each other's families and they are not currently dating anyone else, as reported. The couple also shared that they have been watching the show and reflecting on the things that happened in the retreat and it takes a little toll on them while doing so.

Demari said in the interview with People:

"Watching this stuff back has been tough, even though we both know how we feel about each other, regardless of the title or not, it has been tough for Bri having to watch that whole Valentina situation back. And even me, I'm not jealous, but I got a little tic there, watching back Chris... but it does let us play into remembering how good things are as well, how real those feelings were when we were in there."

Bri agrees with Demari on this and shares that it has been an overwhelming experience for her as well but both are focusing on figuring things out as they still continue on this 'BriMari' break.
