Bobby and Jasmine connected when they spent time together in the pods and were one of the couples to get married on the first season of Love is Blind UK. While the two did say that the year after the show was the best one of their lives, Bobby did add that there weren't too many people they could talk to about their relationship.

"It's really difficult, because of course you have your family and friends there at the wedding, they're the ones who know. But outside of that, you know, not really many people you can talk to it about," the Love is Blind UK cast member said.

The dating reality show Love is Blind UK is the British version of the American show of the same name, which began airing on Netflix in 2020. With its first season being released on August 7, 2024. It saw single contestants developing emotional bonds without seeing their potential partner's faces.

The social experiment aimed to see if people could fall in love sight unseen simply based on their deep and meaningful conversations. The participants chat with each other in pods and only get to see each other after they have decided to get married.

As the season progressed, Jasmine and Bobby's friendship strengthened and their relationship grew, eventually leading them to get married. Despite Jasmine's mother's misgivings about Bobby's capacity to provide and her fears that Jasmine would care more for him than he did for her, the couple stayed committed.

On their wedding day, Bobby firmly said, "I do," and Jasmine followed suit, expressing her joy with the decision and respect for her mother's opinion.

"I respect my mom. I respect her opinion. As much as I love her, ultimately it's my decision to make and I'm really happy," Jasmine said.

After the wedding, Jasmine reflected on her experience, saying that love was "bl**dy blind," adding that she fell in love "purely on the conversations" she had with Bobby. She noted that it was a "forever type of love," and one that would stay until they were a "gray type of love."

Jasmine agreed with her husband, noting that keeping it a secret was especially tough for her due to her generally extroverted disposition. Adding how tough it was to keep such a significant portion of her life private, she admitted that she had a "big a** mouth."

However, the couple could speak about their relationship after the show aired and even when they appeared on the reunion segment, which was aired on August 26, 2024.
