Tigerlily's concerns came from having the fear that Thaer could potentially take control of Adnan's assets, leaving her and their baby stranded in the US. Tigerlily expressed that she felt that Adnan was torn between his life in Jordan and his new life with her in the US.
"See, this is the problem. You want to have one foot in the US and one foot in Jordan," stated Tigerlily.
Adnan, on the other hand, felt that Tigerlily was trying to dictate his choices and sacrifices.
Tigerlily brought up another problem in their relationship as she expressed her discomfort with Adnan's decision to grant his brother, Thaer, power of attorney.
