The much-awaited eighth season of Selling Sunset, the real estate reality series, debuted on Netflix on September 6. The show features high-stakes real estate deals and intense interpersonal drama involving the agents at The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles.

In a recent interview with ET Now, published on September 9, Chelsea Lazkani opened up about her conversation with Bre in season 8 of Selling Sunset. Chelsea has clarified that she does not know Amanda Lynn personally and has never even met her.

"I wanna take her down, I'm in the running for Selling Sunset; I wanna ruin her life." She mentioned, "Bre actually told me it was a set up.""

Chelsea's opinion on Amanda Lynn in Selling Sunset

Chelsea was surprised by Amanda's intentions, especially since they had never met each other before. Chelsea said that Bre told her that it was all a setup, which left her shocked and wondering what the real reason was for these comments.

In response, Chelsea made it clear that she was determined to keep her mental health in check and not let the drama affect her.

Will Amanda Be in Selling Sunset season 9?

As season 8 comes to a close, Amanda Lynn seems to be getting ready to join the cast as a new agent. This could make things very different in season 9. However, it is still unclear if Amanda will be officially a part of the next season. Adding to the uncertainty, Amanda has been criticized for racist tweets that were found again more than ten years ago.

The Daily Mail quoted Amanda's representative statement, she said,

"The tweets in question, made over a decade ago, were a brief lapse in judgment and do not reflect Amanda Lynn's beliefs or values."

Additionally, they clarified that Amanda feels bad about what she did, has learned from it, and is adamantly against racism. And Chelsea didn't hold back. She tweeted,

"Made it clear and putting it in writing, if racist Amanda is on the show as a cast member. It's over for me."

Although Netflix hasn't officially announced the entire cast for Selling Sunset season 9, Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani are currently on the show. When Amanda is added, there could be more drama and a change in the show dynamics. Fans look forward to seeing how these tensions play out next season.

Are Bre and Chelsea still friends after the show?

Even though they worked together on Selling Sunset, Bre Tiesi, and Chelsea Lazkani have clarified that they are not friends and probably never will be. They don't follow each other on social media.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan UK back in May 2022, Bre stated,

"I would say now, I stand even more firm now in not having any relationship with Chelsea, whatsoever. I think her and I are done. That bridge will never be crossed."

At the end of season 8, Bre canceled a lunch with Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause, which worsened things between her and Chelsea. Bre later stopped following Emma on Instagram.

The latest episodes of Selling Sunset season 8 are currently streaming on Netflix.
