Love Island USA season 6 aired its latest episode on Sunday, July 14. It showcased couples formalizing their relationships while discussing plans for the future. Episode 30 of season 6 also featured the 'Summer Sports Day' challenge, where couples were divided into Pink and Gold Teams. The winning team would vote for one couple from their team to go to the Hideaway.
The couples competed against each other to secure the victory for their team. Leah and Miguel from the Gold Team were pitted against Kendall and Nicole from the Pink Team in a kayak race. Leah and Miguel struggled to maintain balance and rowed away from their route, leading to their defeat.
Although they lost, the Love Island USA couple could not help but laugh at how unsynchronized and "bad" they were at the challenge. Viewers saw Leah and Miguel cracking up as they reflected on their performance during their confessional.

Leah and Miguel lose the kayak race in the latest episode of Love Island USA season 6
In the latest episode of Love Island USA season 6, the islanders participated in the 'Summer Sports Day.' Duos Kendall and Nicole, and Miguel and Leah were nominated for the kayak race.
Co-star Kaylor stated that Miguel and Leah had a five-second head start in the race and could comfortably win. She thought, their team, the Gold Team, had "it in the bag" since she expected Miguel to use his strength to row the kayak to the finish line.
As soon as the race started, Leah and Miguel struggled to get their kayak to move ahead. Meanwhile, Kendall and Nicole displayed strong gameplay and soon surpassed Leah and Miguel.
While speaking to the cameras, the Love Island USA couple mocked each other's moves, blaming the other for their loss. Their fellow islanders were fuming, seeing the two unable to use their paddles.
As the two pairs headed toward the finish line, Leah and Miguel paddled in the wrong direction, which caused them to lose the race.
"They were going to a whole another island. I'm like, "Guys, come back. We need you here," said Kaylor.
While speaking to the cameras, Leah and Miguel laughed at their performance, revealing there was no chance they could return to the race, hoping for a victory.
"There was no one in charge. There was no rhythm. Just keep rowing," said Miguel.
As Kendall and Nicole reached the dock first, they emerged as winners of the challenge.
