Big Brother season 26's latest eliminated contestant was Lisa Weintraub. She was pitted against Angela Murray after Tucker Des Lauriers saved himself from eviction by winning the BB AI Arena competition.

The majority voted against Lisa, ending her journey in the Big Brother house. Lisa was surprised by the vote results and felt blindsided, as she thought the houseguests wanted to evict Angela. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, published on August 2, 2024, host Julie Chen Moonves shared her thoughts on Lisa's elimination.

"I could literally see the wheels turning in her head and her eyes darted around as she seemed to replay conversations she must have had with others in the house. It was tough to watch, and my heart felt for her," Julie said.

Lisa previously disclosed that the houseguests had agreed her role in the elimination was to prevent Angela from winning any immunity challenges. As a result, when Angela was announced to be safe, Lisa was taken aback. Julie confessed Lisa's facial expressions proved how betrayed she felt.

Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves thinks Lisa's gameplay threatened the houseguests

Angela took centerstage when she involved herself in a feud with castmate Matt Hardeman. Fearing he might endanger her position in the house, she publicly accused him of trying to intimidate her. As the HoH, she nominated Matt to replace Lisa on the block, leading to his eviction.

In the following episodes, viewers saw Angela clashing with Lisa, T'Kor, Quinn, and others. Due to her behavior in the house, she was disliked by many. As a result, when she was nominated to be eliminated, Lisa was certain the houseguests would evict her. However, the vote results were surprising.

When Julie was asked what she thought of the change in the house's consensus, she stated that the players chose to protect their positions by ousting who they thought was the tougher contender.

"Bottom line is the house felt Lisa was a tougher competitor to beat, so they had to evict her over Angela," Julie said.

Although Angela managed to stay in the limelight, the cast members felt she fell short when it came to winning challenges.

When the vote results were announced, Lisa walked out of the house without showing much expression. She refused to display her disappointment and bid a cold farewell to the remaining Big Brother cast members. During her conversation with Julie, she revealed that "no one was speaking the truth" and no one supported her.

Julie recalled the uncomfortable ambiance and said it was "tough to watch."

"Before the interview began, we sat in silence as we broadcast what was happening in the house. I watched her visibly thinking to herself: How could this be? And her facial expression showed me she was piecing things together in complete astonishment," Julie added.

The Big Brother host noted she saw Lisa saying, "What a bunch of lying a** people" to herself as she shook her head in disappointment. Julie sympathized with Lisa, as she thought the contestants misled her.

Before the live eviction began, the nominated contestants were allowed to campaign to save themselves. However, both Lisa and Angela chose not to, surprising Julie. The Big Brother host thought it was "risky and bold" not to take the chance to save oneself.

"This week, it was probably because Angela felt like she was goner and that it would be useless to campaign, while Lisa must have felt there was no need to because of the so called "plan" she referred to in her "plea speech," Julie said.

Lisa was eliminated from the house after receiving 11 votes against her, whereas Angela got only one. While Lisa exited, houseguest Tucker was seen celebrating her departure.

Big Brother season 26 airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only on CBS.
