Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 7 episode 22: Vinny’s meme gets him in trouble and more, explored

Jersey Shore Family Vacation is known for its drama and season 7 has been no different. MTV aired episode 22 on October 3, 2024, at 8 pm ET in which the Jersey Shore family decided to stay in the bunker and practice how to survive in case of a future emergency.

Snooki guided them on how to ration important groceries for better survival while the cast confronted Vinny about a meme he shared about Sam and Ron fighting. The synopsis for the new episode read:

"The guidos can't handle the bunker, or the truth about the big game. Tensions between Jenni and Vinny heat up after Vinny posts a meme.”

In the previous episode, the gang was invited to stay in Pauly's new house in Las Vegas where various conflicts arose between multiple cast members. The cast brought up Angelina's public spat with boyfriend Vinny 2.0 while Mike shared how he and Lauren saved their son from choking.

Ronnie also talked about his addiction recovery when he exchanged stories with former NBA player Lamar Odom.

To the delight of reality TV fans, a lot of the cast members of Jersey Shore Family Vacation returned, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Samantha (Sammi Sweetheart) Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese, and Angelina Pivarnick.

What happened in Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 7 episode 22?

The new episode started with Pauly claiming to be playing in a flag football game which the roomies did not know about. In a confessional, he also stated that he was confident about the game, further claiming that even NFL-level players wouldn’t dominate in flag football.

The entire cast of Jersey Shore Family Vacation continued their group getaway in Las Vegas as Snooki gathered the other family members and relayed her thoughts that they should take this opportunity and work on how to survive in an emergency inside a bunker.

The cast butted heads about which cast member would be in charge of food and wine in such a dire situation.

Later, things became awkward when Vinny posted a meme of Sammie and Ron on social media. The meme featured a screenshot of exes Ron and Sam fighting from an old Jersey Shore episode and it was captioned, "My generation didn't have Chrisean and Blueface. We had them."

JWoww called Vinny out for posting the meme and sharing it with the group.

"Vinny, do you think before you post things," asked Snooki.

Vinny tried to defend himself by claiming that it was just a funny meme but Jenni did not let go and stated that he was a "s**tty friend." Sam also confronted Vinny and told him that the "whole thing to me is so uncomfortable". She later asked Vinny to not post about him on his social media on Jersey Shore.

Vinny later apologized to Sam and confessed that he didn't mean anything malicious by posting that meme. Sam accepted his apology and claimed that she was used to Vinny's "stupid" behavior.

In a confessional, she further stated that she didn't think Vinny could look at things from any woman's perspective.

The gang later went to Pauly's show where Angelina ran into Nikki after the two fought during a trip to San Diego in season 5 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation in April 2022. Angelina and Vinny were initially fighting and the former threw water on him.

As some of the water accidentally dropped on Nikki, the latter did the same for Angelina. The situation escalated when Angelina tossed red wine back at Nikki.

“It’s a little awkward seeing Nikki. Last time I saw her was when I turned the water into wine like Jesus Christ and poured it on her. But I think she’s over it. I think I’m over it. We hugged it out. She even made us shots,” stated Angelina.

The episode concluded with footage showing Angelina and Nikki embracing each other in the VIP section of Paul's show.
