What happened in Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 7, episode 29?
In the latest episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Deena traveled to Miami with her partner Chris to set good vibes before the rest of the gang visited.
Deena opened the curtains as soon as they woke up, declaring that she wanted everything to be perfect for their family vacation. In a confessional, Deena explained that she and Chris had arrived early to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip. She emphasized that she was determined to be in control and make this vacation a success.
However, Chris seemed less enthusiastic about Deena's planning, expressing his concerns in a confessional on Jersey Shore Family Vacation. He felt that Deena's extensive planning was making the vacation feel like work, and he just wanted to relax.
"What is with all this planning? It seems like work. I'm gonna be on this vacation, and then I'm gonna have to go on like a real vacation. I just wanna relax," Chris said.
Deena's motivation for planning the perfect vacation stemmed from the group's past experiences. She recalled the fights and conflicts that had marred their previous vacations, including a heated argument between Mike and Angelina and a disagreement between Jenni and Vinny.
Determined to avoid repeating those incidents, Deena came up with the concept of "Deena's Dash Passes." These special passes granted the group access to top-shelf food but came with one condition: the holder had to maintain a positive attitude throughout the trip. If someone fails to comply, Deena would threaten to revoke their pass.
Later, Sammi and her fiance, Justin May, pulled off an elaborate prank on their Jersey Shore Family Vacation castmates. With the help of Pauly DelVecchio, they convinced the group that Justin would propose to Sammi during a dinner in Miami. However, the proposal had actually taken place in a previous episode, and Sammi had already said yes.
As part of the prank, Sammi pretended to be upset, expressing her discontent with a dramatic wave of her hand. Jenni was completely taken in, joking that she was embarrassed to be part of the group.
Justin eventually revealed the prank, and Pauly jumped up, excitedly declaring their victory. The scene ended with fireworks exploding over Biscayne Bay. Sammi praised the success of the prank, acknowledging that it was challenging to pull off.
“Me and Justin definitely deserve an award for this because that was freaking hard to do and I can't believe we actually pulled it off,” said Sammi.
Justin, a former bouncer at Karma nightclub in Seaside Heights, and Sammi reside together in Pine Beach.
Notably absent from the Miami trip was Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi's ex. Meanwhile, Nicole Polizzi initially stayed behind in New Jersey, opting to tend to her Snooki Shop, located on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights, near the site of the former Karma nightclub.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
