90 Day: The Last Resort has highlighted the personal lives of couples Stacey and Florian, Gino and Jasmine, Julia and Brandon, Natalie and Josh, Ari and Bini, and Sophie and Rob. These couples go to a retreat where they attempt to resolve their relationship problems through group and individual therapies.
Toward the end of the reality television series, they have to decide whether they wish to part ways or continue their relationship.
An unseen clip from 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 episode 1, titled Between the Sheets: Built to Last?, was posted to the official 90 Day Fiancé YouTube channel on December 11, 2024. In this clip, Sophie tells the cameras that Josh has messaged her on Instagram and invited her to Vegas. She immediately informed Rob about this, who was in favor of Sophie mentioning this in front of Natalie.

During her confession interview, Sophie said:
"About a month before the resort, Josh had messaged me on social media and then he just started putting emojis like the love eye emojis. I told Rob instantly."

90 Day: The Last Resort star Sophie opens up about Josh messaging her on Instagram
In the clip, the cast of 90 Day: The Last Resort were seen introducing themselves to each other and talking to their fellow cast members who they have previously filmed with. During this conversation, Sophie pointed out that she and Josh had exchanged messages on Instagram.
"we've messaged briefly on Instagram a few times," she said.
Later in the same 90 Day: The Last Resort clip, Josh reflected on the moment when Sophie addressed him. He told the cameras that he was expecting a negative reaction from Natalie as it would give her "an immediate insecurity about it." Josh further elaborated that he guessed he and Natalie might get into a disagreement about him reaching out to Sophie. He continued:
"When Sophie says that, I was just thinking f*ck. Natalie is very insecure okay, when it comes to beautiful women around and I knew hearing Sophie say we messaged on Instagram, it's gonna give her an immediate insecurity about it. But nothing happens in the moment which is very impressive."
After Josh and Natalie were no longer part of the group setting, Sophie told 90 Day: The Last Resort couple Gino and Jasmine that Natalie's "man" had been messaging her and even invited her to Vegas. She said:
"Her man has been messaging me on Instagram. He was inviting me to like Vegas."
Rob also addressed the messages Josh had sent Sophie. He stated that it was "messed up" for Josh to reach out to another married woman. Rob was glad that Sophie let Natalie know that Josh had messaged her.
